A Pediatric Dentist is to dentistry as a pediatrician is to medicine. Pediatric Dentists have special training geared toward not only a child’s dental development, but also their psychological and emotional development. There is typically no additional fee affiliated with seeing a Pediatric Dentist. Our offices have special tools that are better suited to treat smaller smiles
Skyview Pediatric Dentistry is located in the state of the art St. Louis Childrens Specialty Care Center. We collaborate with the primary care pediatricians and Washington University pediatric specialists on-site to create an all-inclusive medical home for your children. Dr. Emily performs all typical dental procedures on children, but also offers these unique features:
Dr. Emily had a vision of making the Childrens Specialty Care Center a true health home a place where parents can meet all of their childrens healthcare needs in one location. She truly fulfills St. Louis Childrens Hospitals mission of Doing Whats Right For Kids by serving as a Guardian of Childhood.
When she is not spending time with her husband, Corey, and son, Aiden, Dr. Emily commits much of her time to the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Special Olympics where she serves as a lead dentist for Special Smiles across the state.
Dr. Emily attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI for both undergraduate and dental school. She earned her DDS in 2012. She immediately continued her education in Yakima, WA with the Lutheran Medical Center to complete her 2 year intensive pediatric training. During this time she also completed a certificate in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities. Upon returning to St. Louis in 2014, she began providing dental care for medically complex children at St. Louis Childrens Hospital.
Dr. Emily was raised in Illinois where she danced and sang her way through childhood. She aspired to be a musical star on Broadway, but alas, her very wise father suggested utilizing her peppy personality to help others. He suggested dentistry, as it is the perfect combination of art, science, comforting others and business. Plain old dentistry just wouldnt do. Pediatric Dentistry sounded way more FUN. A passion emerged.

So easy and welcoming. As soon as we walked in my daughter was greeted by such welcoming faces. For her first dentist visit it was the least scary it could possibly be!

We love the entire team at Skyview! Everyone is awesome! Our little girl loves going to the dentist. It's the best decision we made to start her early. She sat and didn't flinch for all the big girl teeth tools as she said. Thank you all for helping make this such an awesome experience.

Absolutely love coming here with our kids! They are all so nice and take the time to explain what they are doing to the kids and answer all questions for the parents. They have an amazing office with things to keep the kids minds off of what is going on during the whole process!

Overall satisfied with the care Skyview provided my son, the office is clean and inviting for children. However, there was some scheduling issues with our appointment and a lengthy intake forms with information that was provided to them already. I felt this forms could have been sent to me electronically to fill out, hence the four stars

Dr. Emily and team are the best!! Our 5 year old daughter has some complicated dental issues, but Dr. Emily put us at ease that she will be with us every step of the way over the coming years as we work with the orthodontist. We are very blessed to be part of the Skyview family.
