We collaborate with the primary care pediatricians and Washington University pediatric specialists on-site to create an all-inclusive medical home for your children. Dr. Emily performs all typical dental procedures on children, but also offers these unique features:
Dr. Emily had a vision of making the Childrens Specialty Care Center a true health home a place where parents can meet all of their childrens healthcare needs in one location. She truly fulfills St. Louis Childrens Hospitals mission of Doing Whats Right For Kids by serving as a Guardian of Childhood.
When she is not spending time with her husband, Corey, and son, Aiden, Dr. Emily commits much of her time to the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Special Olympics where she serves as a lead dentist for Special Smiles across the state.
Dr. Emily attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI for both undergraduate and dental school. She earned her DDS in 2012. She immediately continued her education in Yakima, WA with the Lutheran Medical Center to complete her 2 year intensive pediatric training. During this time she also completed a certificate in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities. Upon returning to St. Louis in 2014, she began providing dental care for medically complex children at St. Louis Childrens Hospital.
Dr. Emily was raised in Illinois where she danced and sang her way through childhood. She aspired to be a musical star on Broadway, but alas, her very wise father suggested utilizing her peppy personality to help others. He suggested dentistry, as it is the perfect combination of art, science, comforting others and business. Plain old dentistry just wouldnt do. Pediatric Dentistry sounded way more FUN. A passion emerged.
