As the founder of Skyview Dentistry, Dr. Byrd blends art and science to create an extraordinary dental experience full of happiness, exceptional care, and genuine compassion. She listens quietly, cares deeply, innovates generously, and is a clinical master.
Dr. Byrd earned her bachelors degree in chemistry at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. She went on to complete her advanced Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
Beyond serving patients, she can be found painting or playing tennis. But most of all she loves traveling with her husband, Harry, hanging out with her daughter Grace and son Harrison, and enjoying their giant Pomeranian Jagger.
Thankfully Dr. DSilva and her husband Eric fell in love with the charm of Charlotte a few years ago and couldnt resist relocating from Buffalo, New York to such a beautiful area. As a compassionate and gifted clinician, she has become an essential part of the Skyview family.
Dr. DSilva earned her undergraduate degree from Canisius College and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She completed her residency at Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) in Buffalo, where she treated medically complex patients with a focus on head and neck oncology patients.
Family drew Dr. Jalali back to Charlotte in 2012, and he has been practicing there ever since. Skyview Dentistry is proud to have an empathetic, excellent dentist with over a decade of experience on the team.
Dr. Jalali earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, as well as his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduation he and his wife, whom he also met at Chapel Hill, decided to move back to Charlotte to be closer to their families.
Dr. Jalali is passionate about bringing his patients the best treatment possible. This is what drives him to stay up to date with the latest and greatest technologies and procedures in dentistry. By continuing his education through local and national seminars, workshops, and study clubs, he can be sure to educate his patients about their treatment options as well.

It's always a positive friendly experience. Parking is easy underneath. Ride the elevator to 4 and you're at their door. You can look out at the nice view of the city or watch a movie in your chair.

Fantastic first experience. From the Front Desk staff, Amanda One and Ananda Two. Nicole was both professional and compassionate as she did my exam and cleaning. Dr. D'Souza was very professional and took the time to discuss treatment plans. Looking forward to going back to my dentist's office. Can't say it any better. Gratitude to all of them for what they do.

I recently went to sky view for some dental work and I could not be happier. My front teeth were chipped and Dr Sylva fixed them on the spot. I went to another dentist and they refused to even fix them when they hurt and were very sensitive. My confidence is back and can actually smile without being embarrassed. If you go to sky view I highly recommend Dr Sylva, she's the best dentist I've ever met! Also. everyone in the office is so nice and attentive to your needs! Thanks guys :)
