Dr. Calvin Despain was born and raised in Middleton, Idaho, and graduated from Middleton High School as valedictorian. He finished his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University-Idaho and then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Despain graduated with Highest Distinction in the top five percent of his class and was awarded the Dr. Tillman E. Miller Clinical Achievement Award. He was also elected into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society for his commitment to clinical excellence and professional integrity.
During his free time, Dr. Despain enjoys all sports and outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and daughter. Dr. Despain is thrilled to be back in the community and is looking forward to providing excellent dental care to longtime residents and our friends joining us in this great state!
My name is Kat and I've been in the dental field for roughly 2 years now. I'm a current assistant working on her E.F.D.A. license and cannot wait to grow alongside Dr. Despain's practice. On days that I'm not working I'm enjoying time on the boat attempting to catch some monster bass, riding my dirt bike, or hiking the many trails Eastern WA has to offer. I look forward to serving the people of Moses Lake in all their dental needs
As our office manager, Sabrinas goal is to help patients feel welcome, valued, listened to, and informed about their treatment and the office. She likes to connect with patients and help them with their needs, from treatment to finances.
Sabrina enjoys watching a nervous patient transition into one who is very happy and comfortable. She tries to provide a positive, seamless experience for patients from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Melissa attended Highline College and joined Skyview Dental in 2021. Her job as scheduling coordinator is to be the welcoming voice to all our patients who call. Melissa provides scheduling and helps patients on the phone and in person at the front desk.
Her favorite part of a patient's visit is being the first to welcome them and the last to see them leave. Building relationships with patients creates a special bond and makes them feel comfortable in a place that probably isn't their favorite place to be.
Rebeccas job as a hygienist is to help others improve their oral health. Her duties include cleaning teeth, taking x-rays, and educating patients on their oral health. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and making personal connections with them.
As a dental assistant, Yvonne sets up the supplies needed for patients visits and helps them reach their oral health goals. She enjoys helping patients feel comfortable, and her favorite thing about a patients visit is seeing them smile and watching them leave our office feeling happy and positive.
After working in the dental field since 2018, Stephanie joined the Skyview Dental team in 2022. Her favorite thing about working with patients is making personal connections and helping them meet their dental needs and goals. She also likes that she gets to do something different every day.

Love the staff and dentist. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I contacted them initially through messenger. They responded quickly and answered all my questions. They even helped me with my insurance. At my appt the hygienist was very gentle and explained to me what was best option was for my current needs. The dentist came in reviewed my x-rays and teeth and also explained my best options. This is a great team. I recommend anyone with dental needs to first try Skyview Dental, even for a second opinion.

My experience with hygienist and Dr. was excellent. Rebecca was professional and thorough as well as very kind and sweet. The x-ray machines yield clear photos. The Dr was also clear about treatment and explained it well. My only concern was the high cost of dental work. It was more than I planned to pay. It's perhaps the same as other technologically modern offices but I'll be comparing.

The team at Skyview dental are fantastic and genuinely care about your emotional well being as well as providing gentle dental care. Dr. Despain, Ann, and Yvonne were so kind and caring, and listened to my concerns about my treatment. They involved me in my treatment plan and did not suggest anything beyond what I needed or wanted. The dental chairs are relatively comfortable, and they also offer a blanket if you feel a bit cold. The best part was being able to see their technology in action, as they used computer guided 3D imaging to create a custom crown in-house! No waiting for an offsite lab, and multiple trips to the office! The crown fit perfectly and needed very little adjustment. Apart from the excellent care by the staff, don't miss out on the antics of Bob and George, the resident squirrels who scamper happily outside of the office window. All in all, a great experience.

I came to the office today as a new patient needing regular care. I got it and then some! Everyone was fantastic from the front desk to the dental chair. I was so worried leaving my family dentist on the west side of the mountains when I moved over to the area. I am not worried now :-) If there were 10 stars, Skyview would get 10 stars!

Just moved to Moses Lake WA and found this fabulous dentistry Skyview Dental. Everyone there is so friendly! Their prices are fair, reasonable and the transparency is awesome. The hygienists are so patient and knowledgeable and the doctor super professional. I'm so happy to be a part of the sky view dental family.

Very friendly staff, non-judgmental & efficient. I would, and have recommended Skyview to several friends. I've been through a few dentists in Moses Lake & so far Skyview is the best. I really appreciate kindness in a Dr and staff and they have it in spades.

I've been going to SKYVIEW Dental for about four year's. I tried another Dentist in Moses before. They had a nice new Dental Office, but not the care, and customer service that Skyview has. I'm going to start at the front desk. Melanie is always smiling, works with you on the time of your appointment, and your payment. Becca is calm, and soothing when she cleans your teeth. I had Ann last week for a cleaning. She did great, and has a nice disposition. Then you have Kat she has a spitfire personality and knows what shes doing. Mr. Despain DDS takes care of my teeth, and concerns. I enjoy your team, and know that I am in good hands. It is hard to find a good Dental Group sometimes, but I have. Thank-You! Karen
