Dr. Scott G. Ferguson, DDS is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease, dental implants, and periodontal esthetic procedures. He received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Utah. He then attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and his Periodontal Certificate.
Dr. Ferguson has been in practice for over 26 years. He is a member of many local and national dental and periodontal societies. He has volunteered his time to improve our local dental profession and has spent time in Haiti volunteering his time to the people of Timo with dental treatment. He leads continuing education study clubs and attends numerous hours of continuing education classes to better serve his patients with the most up-to-date knowledge and skill.
Dr. Ferguson and his wife live in Fruit Heights, Utah and have four children and a labradoodle. He enjoys bike riding, snow skiing and tennis. He enjoys traveling with his family and spending time with them whenever he gets the chance.
Dr. Braden Atkins was born and raised in Utah. He received his undergraduate degree in Medical Biology at the University of Utah. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and his training in Periodontics and Masters of Science in Dentistry from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After school, Dr. Atkins returned to Utah where he has practiced as a Board Certified Periodontist with a focus on implant placement alongside bone and gingival augmentation. Dr. Atkins is an avid cyclist and martial artist. He also enjoys woodworking, reading, gardening and spending time with his wife and children.
Dr. Robert Ferrell has been practicing periodontics and dental surgery in South Ogden, Utah, since 1999. He has received extensive advanced training in implant dentistry with over 10,000 implants placed over his career. He has performed hundreds of full arch implant procedures, including All-on-4; Teeth-in-a-Day implants. Dr. Ferrell is the President of the James Ferrell Foundation, a charitable foundation that provides dental care to the underprivileged of our community as well as abroad. In addition, Dr. Ferrell has organized several different dental and medical humanitarian projects across the globe. He has also been a Spear Study Club leader since 2014. The Spear Study Club organizes a forum where difficult and challenging cases can be reviewed and treated by some of the top dentists in Northern Utah.
Dr. Ferrell is the father of nine wonderful children and considers himself as a guy who married way above himself. In his free time, he has a healthy addiction to college football, politics, skiing and education.
Kylie takes special care to bring compassion and care to every patient she sees, building trust with people she serves and works with. She is uplifted and inspired by the integrity and culture of our team, and she loves that she is constantly learning new things. Kylie graduated from Dixie State University cum laude in 2013, and she is happily married with three kids.
Kaylee is currently a full time college student at Weber State University. Graduated from Ogden Weber Applied Technical Colleges Dental Assisting program and has been working in the Dental Field for over a year and a half. Helping patients gain trust and comfort in our office is a major goal for her.
Christina brings over a decade of experience to our office along with so much energy and optimism. She makes everyone around her smile and oftentimes leaves both her co-workers and patients laughing. She is also a very hard worker and keeps everything running smoothly. She isn't afraid to jump in and help wherever she is needed and always goes above and beyond the call of duty.
Christina and her husband have two amazing kids, one boy and one girl, along with three dogs and a mini petting zoo! In her free time, she likes to ride ATVs, go camping, paddle board, craft and travel.
Sara has been in the dental industry for over 4 years, as she came straight out of college graduating with her athletic scholarship in tennis from Weber State University. She is dual trained for office assistant and dental assisting and has a passion for helping others! She will go out of her way to ensure her patients are being taken care of and loves to support and work with the people around her!
Rather than applying the implants to the bone in a strictly vertical position, the All-on-4 treatment screws them into the bone at an angle allowing for quicker fusion which means in a single office visit our patients can leave with a new set of artificial teeth. It saves time for both the office and the patient which means an increased level of efficiency.
For those patients who were told they were not good candidates for dental implants because of needing more bone mass in their jawbones, this is a perfect alternative for them. When patients have extensive tooth loss it can greatly alter their appearance because their cheeks and lips no longer have the supportive structure to hold them in the natural position. Once this surgical procedure is done, their appearance will return to normal because the underlying structure will have been replaced.
Those patients who were worried about dentures not fitting properly and constantly slipping out of place will be delighted to know that does not happen with this procedure. The dentures fit perfectly in place and are secured to the four posts embedded into their upper and lower jawbone so they will not move out of place.
