Dr. Mehdi Salari was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved with his family to America in 1977. He earned a B.S. in Medical Biology from the University of Utah in 1989. He then graduated from the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in 1993 and moved to Bend to join Dr. Olin's practice.

He has been married to his wife, Jennifer, since 2001. They have three children ranging in age from 11 to 18. When he's not in the office, Dr. Salari keeps busy coaching or refereeing soccer, skiing, biking, playing tennis, goofing off in the Ochocos, writing, a monthly poker group, and spending time with his family and two dogs.

Dr. Zack Porter grew up in Roseburg, Oregon. After graduating from high school, he moved to Bend to ski race with MBSEF. He then attended and graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in General Sciences. He returned to Bend to work in construction and owned a framing and siding business.

In 2004, Dr. Porter left construction to start his dental education at Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI. Drawn to Bend once again, Dr. Porter returned in 2008 and joined Skyline Dental.

While not in the office, you are likely to find Dr. Porter coaching skiing, building furniture, working on home improvement projects, or enjoying the outdoors with his wifeMaureen, daughterBlake, sonAndrew, and their two rescue dogs.

Dr. Maureen discovered her love for dentistry at a young age while helping in her fathers dental office in Wisconsin. She completed her undergraduate work magna cum laude at Miami University of Ohio and graduated with honors from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2008. After dental school, Dr. Maureen pursued a year of advanced training at the University of Colorado Hospital where she focused on complex cases, implant surgery, treatment of medically compromised patients, and Invisalign.

Dr. Maureens favorite part of dentistry is building lasting relationships with her patients. She is committed to lifelong learning and is passionate about providing the highest quality of care using the safest materials and methods possible. She takes great pride in helping her patients achieve and maintain beautiful and healthy smiles.

When not in the office, Dr. Maureen is spending time with her husband, two young children, and two energetic rescue dogs. She loves hiking, running, skiing, yoga, cooking, camping, and spending time with friends. She enjoys giving back to her wonderful community through Kemple Clinic, Kids Center, and volunteering at her childrens preschool.

Dr. Natalie Buckley first discovered her interest in the field of dentistry in high school while on a mission trip transporting dental supplies to an impoverished community in Peru. Once she began shadowing her childhood dentist and saw how the profession combined healthcare, science, and art, she was hooked. So after high school in North Dakota she headed for the mountains and got her bachelor's degree at the University of Montana, graduatingmagna cum laude, and then on to Oregon Health Sciences University for dental school, graduating in 2011.

As true for many of us, Central Oregon's community, climate, and access to outdoor amenities drew Dr. Buckley to Bend. She truly loves being a dentist allowing her to help people achieve better dental function and happier smiles. The personal connections and patient relationships that are built over the years are the icing on the cake.

Out of the office, Dr. Buckley enjoys our seasons with her family through biking, skiing, hiking, and multi-day whitewater rafting trips along with painting and jewelry-making to keep her right brain satisfied.

Dr. Thomas Bordieri Dr. Tom was born and raised in San Diego, CA. Most of his childhood, he could be found on the baseball diamond, football field, skateboarding, or surfing. Thomas was awarded an athletic scholarship to play quarterback at West Virginia State University. After reaching his childhood goal of playing NCAA football, Thomas left after his first season of playing to dedicate himself to his education.

Upon completing his B.S. in Human Biology, Dr. Bordieri left the ocean for the mountains in Salt Lake City. He completed his dental education at Roseman University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine then went on to complete an advanced training residency at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Bordieri has a strong sense of adventure and an affinity for the outdoors. Hes traveled the world, slept on the Great Wall of China, trekked through the Himalayas in Nepal, participated in multiple humanitarian missions in Mexico, and is always excited to experience new things and meet new people. Dr. Bordieri and his soon-to-be wife Dr. Nicole Tasooji are very excited to be moving to such an amazing place like Bend with an even greater community of people. Outside the office, it wont be hard to find Thomas and Nicole on the skin track or out on the trail with their pup Odysseus (Ody).

Dr. Michael Olin (retired) grew up in Vancouver, Washington. He attended the University of Washington and went on to graduate from the University of Oregon Dental School in 1971. He served three years in Germany for the Army after Dental School then moved to Bend in 1974 to start the practice that is currently Skyline Dental.

He has been married to his wife Gloria since 1949. They have two grown and married children, Jill & Brandon, and four grandkids. Dr. Olin decided to retire from Dentistry in August 2012, after 41 years in practice to spend more time traveling, skiing, biking, going up to the Metolius, and enjoying time with his grandchildren.

Dr. Karen Coe attended the University of Washington and earned a B.S. degree in Pharmacy. She graduated Northwestern University Dental School in 1985. That same year, she married Michael Coe who is currently a practicing Orthopedic Hand Surgeon at the Center for Orthopedics and Neurosurgery in Bend. Karen practiced in several cities as Michael pursued his orthopedic training; including Chicago, Charlottesville and Seattle.

She joined Skyline Dental in 1998 and practiced until 2002, when she decided to devote full time to her family. Dr. Coe returned to part-time practice in 2008. She has been married to Michael since 1986. They have 3 children; Erica, Lauren, and Ryan. Dr. Coe enjoys skiing, biking, and traveling. In 2018, Dr. Coe retired and is enjoying spending more time with her children and grandchildren.
