Dr. Kaplan graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in May of 2016. He graduated within the top 5% of his class. He was inducted into the Pi Pi Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a country renowned Dental Honor Society recognizing academic and clinical excellence. Upon his graduation from Dental School he received awards and recognition from the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Osseointegration, the American Association of Endodontics, and the American Academy of Periodontology. After dental school Dr. Kaplan perused advanced training in General Dentistry and completed his General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where he was ranked within the top 3 residents at the program.
