Smile options are abundant at Sky Ortho but you dont have to make a decision on your own. Dr. Larson and Dr. Fitzgerald are here to help you determine what the best options are for you or your child based on physical needs, financial requirements, and ease of care.
At Sky Ortho, we have many different types of brackets to correct alignment problems with the teeth. As seen above, all of the brackets no matter what they look like function the same way. They give us a handle with which to grab onto the tooth to apply the forces necessary to move them where they ought to be.
Different bracket types include ceramic (clear) brackets, traditional metal brackets, and WildSmiles brackets. For example, these bracket bases come in different shapes such as footballs, stars, flowers, baseballs, diamonds, or hearts. In fact, we even have gold brackets available.
We will address how Invisalign works in the answer to another question, but basically, the plastic of the tray gives us a handle on the teeth. In so doing, it applies the pressure necessary to move them to the correct position.
We occasionally need to use other appliances (besides braces or Invisalign) to carry out growth modification forces that will change the way the face and jaws are growing rather than just affecting the alignment of the teeth. We will also discuss this in more detail in the answer to another question.

My daughter got her braces here. The location is clean and open. Parents are welcome to observe. The staff is polite. The payment was explained well and there were no surprises.

We went for a follow up visit preparing to get braces put on my daughter in the near future. We were told that she had two baby teeth that would need to be extracted before doing the final scans to get insurance approval for braces. She said let me check the schedule and we were asked if July 1st at 3:40 pm would be a good time. We agreed and I took off work and we showed up for the appointment today. Not to mention my daughter has been super nervous about it all week and couldn't sleep last night. We show up and we are told oh we don't do extractions here. I showed them my card given to us from them. Then we get told that they sent an email over to our dentist to set up a date and time for it but apparently they never got it. We were never told anything about going to the dentist or that they had only sent an email. So they failed to follow up on that email or communicate any further with us. We were only told that her teeth needed to be extracted and asked if today's date and time would work. Then when we show up we are told sorry about the miscommunication. There was no miscommunication. We were told what needed to be done and we showed up at the scheduled time.

Had a great experience with the braces and the years we used their services UNTIL the braces were off and we got the retainer. She has has the retainer for less then a year and they have cracked 3 times now (top and bottom). They only solution they have is to keep paying for replacements ($180) a piece each time. She never broke a bracket or anything with the braces- so she isn't "hard" on them. They are made with thin plastic material and we are spending close to the same amount of money on the retainer replacements then the braces in itself if we keep replacing them. Maybe some better choices for the customer who has been with company for over 3 years- rather then "you just have to keep buying replacements."

This facility was a life changing event for my teenage daughter. She used to always cover her mouth when she smiled. It gave her so much confidence. I love to see her beautiful smile again.They make possibilities come true for everyone whatever your situation. I would definitely recommend Sky Ortho (Moore) to anyone. This is the nicest, cleanest, friendliest office I have ever been in. Everyone just steps in and helps each other, even if it's just cleaning up, no matter what the situation is, they are there to help each other. The doctors are very personable and explain everthing in great detail. Dr. Larson is so sweet and makes the patient feel at ease. She talks to the patient and the parents, which is very important treating the patient like an adult and making sure they understand everythingo on their level. Love Dr. Larson she makes sure she always goes above and beyond. Both Dr.'s are very nice and considerate and are will take their time to help. The staff are friendly and curtious. You have the best staff. The front desk will work with your needs to get the best appropriate time for you. If you need braces you definitely want to go to this facility. Had my orthocare changed to Sky Ortho from California when I moved back home to Oklahoma. The folks at Sky Ortho really took care of me.
