Dr. Skip Cheesman grew up in Mooresville and is a 1984 graduate of Mooresville High School.He is a 1988 graduate of the University of Indianapolis where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree.He completed his degree with a double major in Chemistry and Mathematics.He is a 1992 graduate of the IU School of Dentistry.While there he completed his training and received his certificate in I.V. Sedation.Dr. Cheesman gained extensive training and experience in dentoalveolar surgery while completing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree at I.U.Today his patients benefit from this training and his years of experience since 1992.He has performed several thousands of cases involving third molar surgery (removal of wisdom teeth), full mouth extractions, alveloplasty in preparation for dentures and general dentistry while utilizing I.V. Sedation.If necessary he can utilize his privileges at a local surgery center, the operating room and ageneral anesthesiologist.His memberships include the American and IndianaDental Associations.He received his training in dental implant placement and bone grafting from Dr. Carl Misch at the Misch Implant Institute. The Misch name is known worldwide as a leader in implant training, placement, and research and Dr. Cheesman is proud to have such training.
Dr. Cheesman has volunteered for several years locally and at Volunteers in Medicine Clinics performing general dentistry and surgery.He and his family live locally where they enjoy time together and with friends following local sports teams, staying physically active and travelling.He and his wifes biggest joy is watching their son grow up and time with him.

Dr Everett and her staff are nothing short of amazing! Fun environment, lots of smiles, and the fact they placed a pic of my wonder smile in the waiting room, I will forever be a loyal customer and recommend this practice over any other.

I was so terrified of that place that I didn't dare to go again, where the young female doctor repaired my teeth. But my teeth continued to hurt for two weeks, my trigeminal nerve was sore, I couldn't drink water, I couldn't eat slightly hot food, and the pain even made it hard for me to sleep. During the treatment, it took three injections of anesthesia to find the nerve anesthesia. I couldn't believe her skills, so I had to spend more money to find a doctor in another clinic.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Everett and staff do some dental work. This group was so amazing! They all took their time and ensured I was comfortable throughout the whole visit. I was absolutely dreading this procedure. I can say with certainty that I will be back with no worries! Dr. Everett and staff YOU ROCK!

Being terrified of dentists, I went to see Dr. Cheesman because of very good recommendations from several friends. He is fantastic! I have major dental issues and had to be sedated for treatment. He gave up his day off to come in and treat several people, myself included. His straightforward attitude and personal touch has made my experience so far into one that I am very pleased with. I highly recommend going to see him.

I have neglected my teeth as far as dentists go for too long because of severe anxiety... but I had some issues that needed to be taken care of. That being said, Dr. Cheesman is amazing! He keeps me calm, explaining everything that's going to happen, and his staff is always there if you need something. Highly recommend this office.

I'm not a big fan of Dentist, ( sorry no offense) but Dr. CHEESEMAN will make you feel comfortable when you explain your concerns. I have had a fear of Dentist when I had my wisdom teeth pulled, needless to say it was a terrible experience. Even years later you don't forget!!!!!! I explained to Dr. CHEESEMAN my fears and he is working with me on this problem. All I can say is " Thank you "

Went several years ago for help, not only did he Work on me when I wasn't numb, he made me feel humiliated and like my teeth were awful and going to require significant amounts of work and a multitude of the same horrific procedures he did on me in order to be healthy again. Obviously after having someone cut you open take thing out and stitch you up while not numb is extremely painful, and you don't go back when they mention you need many more of those. I went to a new dentist this week finally, not only was it agreed cheesmans practice was uncalled for, but my teeth are no where near what he made out to be. I pulled out my old quotes of what chessman suggested, versus the quotes this new dentist quoted. Thousands of dollars in difference. And this new dentist is treating the issue and explained it in a way that made me feel human. I would not recommend skip chessman if you value being treated like a human and don't want to be physically tortured.
