Dr. Skinner practiced in his hometown of Clear Lake, Iowa fornearly 20 years before moving to Mankato.Heis a graduate of the University of Iowa and The University of Iowa College of Dentistry.His training, education and experience include a wide variety of skills and procedures and allow for the highest quality of dental care.He believes in a lifetime of learning, and pursues the most currentsolutions for his patients.
Dr. Skinner is passionate about dentistry because it allows for the development of relationships over time where the patients actually become like family. Dental care is the primary concern, but the whole patient and their well-being are important to Dr. Skinner and his staff.
Dr. Skinner lives in North Mankato with his wife, Tammy, andtheirthree children: Mattea, Tyler, and Sophia. They are extremely grateful to have made Mankato their home.They enjoybeing involved withtheir kids and all of their activities, being involved in church, and exploring the outdoors here in Minnesota.They have become involved in an organization called GoServ Global, serving at a dental clinic in Les Cayes, Haiti since 2015.

Just moved to town & happened to select Skinner Family Dentistry as they were accepting new patients and my insurance. What an amazing experience that exceeded all my expectations. Very efficient, friendly office staff and clean, fresh, calm surroundings. Dr. Skinner took time to understand my history and perform a thorough exam. The hygienist cleaned and polished my teeth thoroughly and professionally and, most important, pain free! I look forward to my next check up and that has never happened to me before!!!

Had a crown done today on an upper molar. Dr. Skinner and his assistant did an excellent job. It was painless and fairly quick. In and out in about an hour. Everything feels good. Highly recommend!
