A native of Dublin, Ohio, Dr. Skidmore graduated from Harding University in Searcy AR with a Bachelor of Science degree in Science. He attended The University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry and graduated in 1996 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. While studying at The University of Tennessee he was a member of Xi Psi Phi, a dental fraternity.
Dr. Skidmore is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is currently enrolled in a four year Master Track program for Dentistry at the University of MS, College of Dentistry.
Dr. Skidmore is CPR, ACLS (acute care life support) and PALS (pediatric acute life support) certified through the American Heart Association. Dr. Skidmore is also certified to administer oral sedation. He is also Invisalign certified and participates in the Frank Spears Interdisciplinary Study Club.
Dr. Skidmore met his wife Angela while they were both in dental school and they reside in Arlington, TN with their two daughters, Alaina and Anna. In his spare time, he enjoys running, golf and movie marathons with his girls.
