A native of Dublin, Ohio, Dr. Skidmore graduated from Harding University in Searcy AR with a Bachelor of Science degree in Science. He attended The University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry and graduated in 1996 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. While studying at The University of Tennessee he was a member of Xi Psi Phi, a dental fraternity.
Dr. Skidmore is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is currently enrolled in a four year Master Track program for Dentistry at the University of MS, College of Dentistry.
Dr. Skidmore is CPR, ACLS (acute care life support) and PALS (pediatric acute life support) certified through the American Heart Association. Dr. Skidmore is also certified to administer oral sedation. He is also Invisalign certified and participates in the Frank Spears Interdisciplinary Study Club.
Dr. Skidmore met his wife Angela while they were both in dental school and they reside in Arlington, TN with their two daughters, Alaina and Anna. In his spare time, he enjoys running, golf and movie marathons with his girls.

I'll be honest, I haven't been to the dentist in a long time, so I was very nervous. However, this place made me feel super comfortable and safe. The woman cleaning my teeth was very patient because I was sensitive around my gums. I will recommend this place to everyone!

I have been going to Dr. Skidmore for many years. Today, I went in for a cleaning. They recently (from my perspective) added a new Hygienist to the team. Sharetta has a calming demeanor and her engaging approach reflects abundant knowledge of her craft. She also has great listening skills. It was a pleasure having her fulfill my cleaning today..

Olivia was great as usual! HOWEVER, the billing department has been horrible. My wife and I have requested a meeting with Mark to go over our concerns and inaccurate billings. Will update once the meeting is held. Billing/Office manager called this morning. Stated no need for a meeting...is going to send us everything they have (most of which is work and documentation we provided the billing office). Said it was our insurance's fault (MetLife). MetLife told us the Denist's Office hasn't provided the data requested. Also, several of our personal checks missing from the invoice which we paid and felt were valid charges 8 months ago. THIS IS THE REASON WE REQUESTED A FACE TO FACE MEETING for transparency and to get to the bottom of all this. Apparently, not going to happen. Told Billing Manager to have Mark call me....we will see

I've been going to Dr. Skidmore for about 10 years... consistently receive professional care and consideration at every appointment. Dr. Skidmore is attentive, explains all procedures thoroughly, and the staff has been top notch as well. I have no complaints and have referred several friends and family members.

I love this dental office! They're clean and friendly! They get you in with no waiting. I love their work and how well and meticulous they are. If you're looking for a great dentist, doctor Skidmore is the one for you. I met doctor Skidmore after I had work done at another dental clinic and I had a crown to fall out. Dr. Skidmore fixed it and hadn't had a problem since! He's a great dentist!
