Ive always had a true compassion and a heart for helping people. Through dentistry, I can really get to know my patients and help them work through any fears or anxiety to restore not only their smile, but also their self-esteem and confidence.
Growing up in a small town, sense of community was important and part of everyday life. Practicing dentistry in Skiatook, gives me that same connection and each time a child or adult trusts me to get them healthy, its so rewarding.
Being able to do what I love every day, makes being a mom and wife even better. Ive been married for 16 years and have 3 children: Major 11, Lucia 9 and Sloan 6. We enjoy hanging out together, camping and taking care of our many pets.
When Im not at Skiatook Family Dentistry, Im the supervising dentist at the OU Dental Hygiene Program in Bartlesville. Ive also been on the OU College of Dentistry Dental Hygiene Board for 4 years and am a member of the Oklahoma Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Meghan and I also enjoy volunteering our time through the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy to provide free dentistry to people who really need it and dont have access to it.
I received my Master of Public Health degree in 2013 and graduated from the OU College of Dentistry in 2004. Before that, I completed my undergraduate work in 2000 at Oklahoma City University where I played basketball.
