I want to let everyone know that root canals have been given a bad name. Dr. Schmoldt and his staff did an awesome job. They fixed my tooth without any pain. I was completely comfortable throughout the procedure. I recommend them to anyone who needs a root canal.
Dr. Schmoldt really took the time to explain my situation. He described everything in a way I could understand. Instant trust. I love the office too. Definitely will go back here if I ever need another root canal.
Dr. Schmoldt was born and raised in Beloit, Wisconsin. He received his DDS from Marquette University and completed his post-graduate specialty training in endodontics at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from dental school, he served 10 years as an officer, general dentist and endodontist in the Air Force with tours in Alabama, Mississippi, Germany, Texas and Japan. He is one of less than 20% of endodontists to become board certified in endodontics.
Dr. Schmoldt is passionate about endodontics. As a former general dentist, Dr. Schmoldt is a strong partner to referring dentists helping them provide expert care to their patients. He loves to educate and provide comfortable empathetic care to patients. He is a good blend of professional and laid-back.
Dr. Schmoldt and his wife, Anna, have three awesome kids (and three crazy dogs.) In addition to endodontics, Dr. Schmoldt is also passionate about baseball, playing guitar/bass guitar, traveling and spending time with his family.
