Samantha Siranli, DMD, PhD, FACP, earned her dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and has completed several postgraduate programs in prosthodontics, which is dedicated to the cosmetic and functional restoration of missing teeth. She has achieved fellowship in implant dentistry, is trained in advanced hospital dentistry, and even obtained a PhD in research on dental implants. In 2010, the American Board of Prosthodontics awarded her the most prestigious award in the field: Board Certification (Diplomate) in Prosthodontics. In 2011, on account of her work, Dr. Siranli was invited to be a featured speaker at the boards annual convention, where she presented her case to hundreds of colleagues from across the United States.
Dr. Siranli served as an associate professor, teaching and practicing implant dentistry and prosthodontics, at the University of Pittsburgh. Following that she was recruited to the Medical College of Georgia to teach aesthetics, implant dentistry, and prosthodontics. She has received numerous awards and is a contributing author to the book Esthetics in Dentistry. Dr. Siranli has presented lectures in aesthetic and implant dentistry at national and international conferences and is recognized as one of the premiere prosthodontists in the United States. She has been practicing general dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and prosthodontics for nearly two decades and uses the latest technological innovations in dentistry, including immediate placement and restoration of implants, computer-guided surgery, veneers, crowns, and new smiles in one day. In 2017, she was selected by her peers to be listed in topDentists, which appeared in Washingtonian magazine.
Stephanie Elam Simmonett, DMD, is a Georgia native. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish at the University of Georgia and obtained her dental degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences in South Jordan, UT. Upon her graduation, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the most prestigious national dental honor society, based on her intellectual and scholastic achievements and professionalism.
Dr. Simmonett was awarded the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Pre-doctoral Achievement Award and scholarship in recognition of her interest in and commitment to oral implantology. She was also awarded a scholarship from the American College of Prosthodontics in recognition for Outstanding Undergraduate Achievement in the Study of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Simmonett is an active board member of the DC Academy of General Dentistry and an active member of the DC Dental Society. She is committed to continuing education to provide her patients with the best, most up-to-date dental care. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Simmonett enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her husband, Andy, and her two dogs, Gizmo and Sophie.
Michael Blicher, DDS, is a native of the Washington, DC, area. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in College Park and his dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. After dental school, he served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force, practicing dentistry at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. He has been in private practice in Washington, DC, for over 30 years. Dr. Blicher is an active member of the District of Columbia Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Maimonides Dental Study Club.
A past president and current secretary of the District of Columbia Dental Society, Dr. Blicher is also the vice president of the DC Academy of General Dentistry, section chair of the Metro DC chapter of the American College of Dentists, and on the Scientific Meeting Committee of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been awarded fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Dentistry International, the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy and is a dental products evaluator for Clinical Research Associates.
Dr. Blicher is honored to have been voted a topDentist in the last seven surveys of dentists as featured in Washingtonian magazine and was listed as a Top-Rated Dentist in the Washington Consumers Checkbook Magazine. He is happily married to Emily Green-Blicher and has two grown children, Gabrielle and Brian. His hobbies include scuba diving, photography, golf, bike riding, and cruising around in his 1965 Mustang convertible.
Barbara Baxter, DMD, obtained her dental degree from Tufts University in Boston. She has more than 30 years of experience in her field. To provide the highest level of care possible, she stays up to date with the latest trends in modern dentistry. I want to give my patients the exceptional care they deserve no matter how simple or complex the treatment is, she says. Comfort is key.
Dr. Baxter uses a gentle touch and presents personalized treatment plans prepared with the individual in mind. She prides herself on letting patients know about the importance of preventive care to protect their teeth and gums and avoid more serious concerns in the future. This also reinforces good hygiene habits at home. With her friendly teams support, Dr. Baxter provides many preventive services, including digital x-rays, cleanings, fluoride treatment, and other hygiene care to monitor oral health. She is passionate about general and restorative dentistry.
Olga Spivak, DMD, graduated with honors from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine (GSDM) where she received her dental degree. After growing up in St. Petersburg, Russia, Dr. Spivak received her Bachelor of Science degree and DDS from Saint-Petersburg State Medical University. Throughout her career path her passion has been esthetics dentistry and orthodontics. Upon her graduation from Boston University, she received the Hanau Excellence in Prosthodontics Best of the Best Award. She has completed several orthodontic internships and externships, both nationally and internationally. She has continued to bring current dental innovative techniques internationally to her hometown and elevate the standard of care with the coming generation of dentistry through online webinars and live seminars. She is an Invisalign-certified dentist with an affinity for digital dentistry.
Dr. Spivak has been an active member of the community and enjoys giving back to the public. She participates in multiple outreach programs to serve families and children with limited or no access to dental care such as the Special Olympics, Give Kids a Smile, the Health Fair, and AAWD Women to Women event. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, District of Columbia Dental Society, Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists, and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Spivak represented the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) at the GSDM chapter with the Community Service Committee. She also acted as Vice-President of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry at the GSDM chapter. Dr. Spivak is honored to have served for the past year on the Constitution and Bylaws Committee in the DCDS. She holds a personal passion to deliver comprehensive yet conservative dental care to help achieve emotional closure and patient satisfaction.

I have moved around a lot in my adult life and with that have had to find a dentist every time. Some have done serious damage to my teeth. Then I moved to DC and found Dr Siranli ( based on the recommendation of a friend) and I can honestly say I will never move again because I will never find a better dentist. Dr Siranli and her whole team of associates are hands down- the best. Not only are the offices super clean and sleek but you're also in good hands. For my first implant I was pregnant and it was during the pandemic and Dr Siranli was so caring and I felt so safe. She is very thorough, extremely talented at what she does and she is quick ( if that tooth is coming out you wont even know it). I go to her office for a regular cleaning with one of the talented Hygienists (shout out to Mariam!) and my husband has had extensive work done by Dr Siranli as well, same for my father, and my toddler is learning good dental hygiene as her youngest patient so he doesn't have to (hopefully) deal with implants but if he does I'll make sure he has the best doctor in town- Dr Siranli! Thank you Siranli Dental for keeping this family smiling!

Dr Siranli is a master of her craft! I had a very complicated case and had gone through a million dentists who were not able to help me. After studying my case, Dr Siranli presented me with options, walked me through each, and she came up with a perfect solution while being respectful of my preferences and concerns. What had taken me months to accomplish with previous doctors took me just a few weeks with Dr Siranli. In fact, on my very first consultation, Dr. Siranli gave me a wonderful temporary solution while the permanent solution was carefully developed. I would also like to give a huge shoutout to her incredible team, who are a true blend of artists and scientists. I'm eternally grateful for Dr. Siranli and her team! Could not recommend more.

One would I would use to describe Dr. Siranli's work is perfection. To say I'm happy with my results is an understatement. On top of the wonderful quality of care, Dr. Siranli's kindness and compassion are incredible and I will be forever grateful. Dr. Siranli is so gifted at her craft but also has such a big heart. A year ago, I wrote a partial review, here is the follow-up based on my implants, crowns, Invisalign, and professional bleaching: Firstly, Julie, Lauren, and Andrea are all amazing! Mai and Daisy are also truly amazing! Even more so why it pains me to write this review because I think Dr. Stephanie, Dr. Siranli, and her staff are all great people, but this review is solely based on the dental work I have done in this office. I will start by noting that Dr. Stephanie did a fantastic job with my Invisalign - I am very pleased with how straight my teeth look, and she is an absolute gem of a dentist; I highly recommend her! Maryam did my bleaching; I was unhappy with the results and voiced it; unfortunately, it was not worth the high expense, and instead of her redoing/ fixing it, I was given an at-home bleach kit to fix the problem myself (which can be easily found on Amazon for anyone interested). Dr. Siranli did a good job aesthetically* with my implant and crowns. However, pretty-looking teeth with significant discomfort and pain don't really feel worth it in this case. Also, the color doesn't entirely match my natural teeth - this would not be a problem if it weren't noticeable, but I have very forward people who immediately pointed this out. I had reached out to Dr. Siranli expressing that I am experiencing a lot of pain sensitivity and discomfort post implants; when I got to her office to remedy this issue, to my surprise, I was only there for a "photo shoot" of my teeth bc she was so happy with the aesthetics, she wanted to take some photos of it; my main issue and reason for being there felt wholly overlooked. She shaved/ filed my teeth and told me the pain and discomfort would be gone in a week - now I am left with an unpolished back tooth due to the shaving, and terrible discomfort. On another note - they are attentive at first, but once they feel you become a regular, they no longer care about treating you like a paying client, especially considering all the work I have done; you're treated very differently, and you can expect to be abandoned in a chair with no explanation and then left waiting even with a scheduled appt (which all were). On multiple occasions, I got to the office around 9-10am (sometimes earlier) and would only leave around 5pm, sometimes later than the staff; this is how long you can expect to be abandoned. My final Implant was Wed 7/20, my appt was at 8:30am and at 4:50pm I still did not have my implant in. I literally left the dentist's office at 7:05 pm. As I said, I think everyone is great, but the lack of respect for my personal time and value as a patient is unprofessional and very disappointing. This was all very expensive, and sadly, the results were not as expected (and promised). Even though my other experiences were not that great, I still think they are great with cleaning and other dental work - my bone graft healed phenomenally.

Approximately 15 years ago, I was diagnosed with severe periodontal disease which came as no surprise to me since dental issues have been prominent in my family for generations. Earlier this year, I realized that I could no longer wait to have this issue resolved so I visited an oral surgeon in Washington D.C. at the recommendation of my general practitioner. After the Oral surgeon took X-Rays of my gums, teeth jaw, he determined that I would need to have all of my teeth extracted and be fitted with dentures (with no possibility for a fixed solution) which I was adamantly against. After a brief discussion with the surgeon, he referred me to Dr. Siranli who is one of the top prosthodontists in the world, which would turn out to be one of the greatest things to happen to me in my lifetime. When I went to visit Dr. Siranli, I was immediately put at ease by her soothing demeanor and her wonderful, and extremely competent staff. She put me through a series of tests which included X-Rays, visual inspections, and manual tests which she performed with extreme precision and care. After these tests were performed, Dr. Siranli concluded that there was no reason why I could not have dental implants, or at the very least, a temporary (fixed) set of teeth while I awaited the permanent dental implants. As fate would have it, Dr. Siranli had an opening a few weeks later for me to undergo surgery for my temporary (fixed) set of teeth. Two weeks later, after arriving at her surgery center, I was tended to right away by Dr. Siranli and her wonderful staff. During the entire process which lasted most of the day, I was kept abreast of each and every step that Dr. Siranli and her staff was about to perform. They kept me very comfortable during the entire surgery as they performed each step with extreme care and professionalism. Dr. Siranli could easily have just taken a few measurements of my teeth and gums and created a temporary set, but she did not do that. Instead, she took dozens upon dozens of measurements because she wanted the outcome to be perfect. I'm convinced that since Dr. Siranli and her staff are almost exclusively female, they are not only the most competent and experienced group for this type of work, but they have a superior eye for aesthetics and beauty. After spending most of the day going thru the process, the best was yet to come!! In the early evening when my teeth arrived and were placed in my mouth, I could not believe my eyes!! My teeth were easily the best set of teeth amongst all of my family, friends and colleagues. I'm so happy that I can't wipe the smile from my face. In the week or so since the surgery, I have experienced no pain or discomfort. For anyone who is considering having dental implant surgery, I would highly recommend Dr. Siranli and her staff as they are the best in the business. My entire outlook on life has changed for the better, and I can't wait to really start enjoying my life. Dr. Siranli and her staff are the best!!!!!

Dr. Siranli is extraordinary phenomenal dentist! She restored my million-dollar smile over a decade ago, currently I still have a million-dollar smile and no one can still identify the implant in my mouth. She definitely takes pride in her work, she is extremely attentive, compassionate, and a master of her profession. Based off my experience, Dr. Siranli is 5 Stars all the way across the board in my book, I would recommend her to anyone who wants a beautiful smile and l am very fortunate to have her as my dentist. Dr. Siiranli, Dr. Olga and the Siranli dental team are amazing. My mother heard me voice my concerns about needing a dentist who was passionate about their work and their patients. after going from dentist to dentist, I feel liberated to call Siranli Dental, my place of preference. My smile has been brought back better than ever and when I return for routine visits, the attention to detail and explanations to any issue I have, are clearly explained and with care. Every visit to the dentist, feels like a visit to my new family. The staff work as an awesome team. Being a true believer in Christ, I am truly grateful that my mom cared enough for me to pray, research, and lead me to the best as she would have for herself. Dr. Siranli is both a fabulous dentist and one of the most wonderful people you will ever meet. She rescued me from indescribably severe pain associated with mistakes from a previous dentist. She was relentless in helping me achieve the correct bite and pain free living. Although we are moving out of state, we will drive whatever distance necessary to glean her services. Better care you cannot find.
