Dr. Sipkin graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine at the top of her class in 2004, and was immediately accepted into NYUs prestigious orthodontic residency program. As a proud lifelong New Yorker, she considers it a privilege and an honor to have studied under some of the greatest orthodontists and craniofacial specialists New York has to offer. Loving academia, she has taught dental students at NYU and Columbia, and has performed and published research on numerous scientific topics ranging from craniofacial disorders to periodontal disease. Her most recent publication can be read in The Angle Orthodontist journal, and studies the efficacy of Invisalign treatment on patients with periodontal disease. She has been featured on CBS news for her experience with Invisalign.

Dr. Sipkin prides herself on keeping her bustling office full of warmth and personal attention toward her patients, and enjoys treating both children and adults of all ages. She is a mom first, and the mommy instinct kicks into her decision making and treatment of all patients under her care.

Its a big responsibilitypeople are trusting you with their kids. I take that very seriously. I have very high standards for how I expect doctors to treat my girls, and I wouldnt dream of giving less to my patients. And when the mom of a patient ends up asking me to do her Invisalignthat is always a personal highlight for me. It means a lot to me when they are thrilled with their experience at my office.

Dr. Sipkin has been president of her PTA, leads her school and neighbors in frequent community service fundraisers, and proudly serves on the board of Project Broadway in NYC to help bring an arts education to children in underserved communities. She is a mom to 2 beautiful daughters, and spends her free time taxiing them around to their various sports and arts activities. She stays active in the American Association of Orthodontists, and truly considers it a privilege to serve Valley Stream, Lynbrook, Oceanside, Rosedale, and surrounding communities each day, creating beautiful smiles for all!

Dr. Ava Kamenshchik grew up in East Meadow, NY and has spent most of her life on Long Island. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree (Summa Cum Laude) at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY and then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She was awarded throughout her dental school career and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. After dental school, Dr. Ava completed a one year General Practice Residency program affiliated with Stony Brook University Hospital, where she learned advanced techniques in crown and bridge work, implant restorations, root canal therapy, pediatric dental care, periodontal and oral surgeries, as well as anesthesia and operating room dentistry. She was then accepted into the highly competitive residency program for orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Stony Brook University's School of Dental Medicine. During her three years at this program, she was trained in all aspects of orthodontics, including braces for children and adults, Invisalign, surgical orthodontics, temporary anchorage devices (TADs), treatment of patients with cleft palate and other craniofacial anomalies. She has presented orthodontic cases as well as her research at regional and national orthodontic meetings.

Dr. Daniella Davis was born and raised on Long Island. She attended dental school at the NYU College of Dentistry where she graduated with honors and was a member of the OKU Honors Society. She completed her speciality training in Orthodontics and a Masters in Dental Science at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in NJ.

Dr. Davis is enthusiastic about patient care and works hard to give each patient the smile they deserve. She is trained in the most advanced technologies and appliances and comes up with creative solutions to orthodontic problems. She prides herself on keeping up to date with orthodontic journals and is a member of various orthodontic societies.

Outside the office, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She loves baking, painting, craft projects, and all things Disney. She is outgoing, energetic, and loves getting to know every patient!

Dr. Maryam Mahdavi is from Boston and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts with a BS in Mathematics. She completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and moved to New York City to complete a residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital/ Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Maryam then spent three years at BronxCare Health System specializing in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics where she honed her skills treating complex orthodontic cases using traditional fixed appliances, lingual orthodontics, and clear aligner therapy. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Maryam is detail oriented and takes pride in delivering excellent results while making patients feel comfortable during the process. She loves that over the course of treatment, she has the privilege of getting to know each patient and establishing a trusting relationship while working towards creating a beautiful, confident smile.

I have been working in the orthodontic field for over 15 years and knew Dr. Sipkin when she first finished her residency. I have over 10 years of experience with customer service in the orthodontic field. Outside of work, I love to travel and spend time with my family and new baby. My favorite sports are bowling, baseball, basketball and volleyball. I have been a dental assistant for over 15 years. In 2013 I decided to try my hand in Orthodontics and instantly fell in love.
