Dr. Singh is one of less than 1% of dentists in the US that is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a strong believer in providing high quality dental care for children in a fun, nurturing and compassionate environment. Her goal is to give her patients of all ages a proper foundation for excellent oral health - all while making the experience as fun and positive as possible!
Dr. Singh received her undergraduate education from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she graduated with a BS degree in Psychology and subsequently earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree in 2010. She then furthered her clinical practice by completing a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center (Bronx, NY) and then an Oral Oncology fellowship at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where she treated children with a variety of special health care needs. She enjoyed working with children so much that she returned to Montefiore Medical Center to complete her 2 year speciality training in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Singh is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the College of Diplomates. In her free time, she loves to travel, practice yoga, and spend time with her friends and family. She also has a strong passion for community outreach and has volunteered abroad in Ecuador.
We have listed general instructions on how to handle your childs dental emergency. We strongly advise that you contact our office so that your child can receive a thorough evaluation. If you feel that your child may be experiencing a potentially life-threatening emergency, however, please call 911 immediately.
This is time-sensitive! Hold the tooth by its crown (never the root) and rinse it gently in cool water. Try to reinsert it in the socket immediately and hold it there with clean gauze or a washcloth. If you cannot put the tooth back in the socket, place it in a clean container with cold milk. Contact our office immediately for evaluation and treatment. The faster we can get the tooth back into the socket, the higher our chances are of saving the tooth!

I cannot recommend this place enough for your child's dental needs. The whole team at the office works together really well and go out of their way to make it a less stressful and scary experience for your kid. We pay out of pocket to come here rather than using our in-network dental coverage options bc they are that good and thorough in making your child understand each process. My kids walk out with a smile after each visit. You can tell they care about your child feeling safe and comfortable. Glad our friends recommended this office to us.

Everyone you interface with at Singh and Smile is just a delight. From the receptionist to the hygienist, to Dr. Singh herself. Each one of them made my son's first experience at the dentist easy. I cannot thank them enough, and I am so happy to have found OUR dentist for our son, going forward. HIGHLY Recommended.

09/2020: Had another great experience with this office. Dr. Singh and her dental assistants were kind and welcoming. My kids are no longer scared to go to the dentist. And I am very happy with the staff. They handle my insurance well and no surprises for me. 09/2019: Had a great personal experience at Singh and Smile. Dr. Dhar is so great with my son who was not cooperating well. She also explained with clarity and was practical in both kids' dental care. Staff at the front desk were easy to communicate with and handled all insurance properly. Happy to have found a new dental practice for my kids.

We went for our first dentist appointment today and everyone was wonderful. I was nervous on how my little girl was going to react and Dr Singh and her staff made us all feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend bringing your child here, we will sure be back!

We have been coming here since our daughter was 18 months, she is 5 now and we also take our 2-year-old for his checkups. All staff and the Dr Singh are very friendly, and work so wonderfully with kids. The whole set up of the office is great, and again kid-friendly. A trip to the dentist becomes something to look forward to for my kids instead of something to dread. There are also frequent reminders and just the general relaxed and friendly atmosphere, highly recommend this dentist and dental facility for kids.

Singh and Smile is phenomenal! We've been bringing our boys since they opened. The staff are all so welcoming and patient with our boys, now 5 and 7. Neither of our boys are thrilled to go, but the hygienists and dentist are unbelievably patient with them both. They take time to explain the procedures, let them warm up to the equipment. They're really everything we can ask for in a dental practice.

We had a fantastic experience for my 2 year old's first cleaning! All staff members called my son by name and were so kind and attentive- they were encouraging and spoke directly to my child. Dr. Singh explained each step to my son before it happened so he was comfortable and understood the process. The office was beautiful- all brand new- and super clean. Highly recommend!!

I appreciate that the hygienist helped my child understand how to floss, how to brush, and showed him the state of his gums. Much more effective than "Mom" pestering him about brushing his teeth! Dr. Singh also helped explained the treatment plan, why it was important, asked for questions she could address. Really helpful and friendly front desk person - great experience all around!
