Dr. Lawrence Singer graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1980 and completed a hospital residency in general dentistry at Suburban General Hospital. Prior to studying at Dental School, he attended Alfred University, where he received his B.A. degree and became a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Dr. Singer has been practicing for over 40 years. He moved to Camden in 2005 with his wife and two boys to enjoy Midcoast Maine. 2022 update, now including 4 grandchildren. He restored a 200 year old home and turned it into his modern 'state of the art' dental office using the technology of today. He previously practiced in Princeton, New Jersey for 25 years, where he was on staff at Princeton Hospital and was an active part of the Princeton community. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Singer has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. He has been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry since 1980.
Jamie Weiss brings over 40 years Office Management & Operations experience to our team. She has been with us over 10 years now and usually when you call the office she is the first one you speak with. She is here to make sure we have the most up to date information about you, your medications, your insurance, and to get you scheduled, for your needed treatment, as soon as possible. If you have any questions for Jamie about your insurance, financing options, or scheduling just call the office or e-mail to[emailprotected]she is always happy to help get you the answers she can.
Ashley joined us as a Certified Dental Assistant over 4 years ago, and has become a valuable member of the team. She graduated from the Dental Assistant Program at New Hampshire Technical Institute in 2012 and has loved the profession ever since. She moved to Maine in 2016 with her husband and son. She enjoys spending her free time with her family enjoying the many outdoor activities the area has to offer, such as gardening, fishing, canoeing and days at the beach.

i just had MAJOR crown work done on two teeth...i went in anxious, of course, and Dr Singer and Ashley made me totally comfortable. Dr Singer has an incredibly gentle touch...I never felt the anesthetic injection...once that took hold, work commenced. Dr Singer kept me informed every step of the way....he gave me breaks and was always concerned with how I was feeling... An amazingly positive experience! And those crowns??? Awesome!!!!

Dr. Singer is the best of the best, if I could give more stars, I would. He went way beyond any previous dentist because he fixed any existing issues while simultaneously improving the aesthetics of my mouth. I'm grateful for his skill and professionalism.

My son was experiencing serious tooth/jaw pain on a Friday We have very few dental offices open in our area on Fridays. My regular dentist had recently gone out of business and I was late in finding a replacement. So I called Dr. Singer's office and Jamie, the receptionist was so kind and considerate, being Easter weekend she had sympathy and got us in! Dr. Singer was very gracious in helping identify my son's problem. Extremely reasonably priced for an emergency! I like that he does it all - cleanings and dentistry. I am grateful to have a new family dentist!

The Dr. Singer Dentistry Experience Rocks! New to the area and with a "problem mouth" an "Emergency" sent me searching for a dentist that could see me quickly. Not only does Dr. Singer have hours set aside for daily emergencies (11am) but his major metropolitan experience in rural seacoast Maine where he only treats one patient at a time (not jumping from room to room for three patients) provided me with focused and extremely generous care. Dr. Singer's chair-side manner is equally exceptional - friendly and relaxed. Procedures are well explained, communicated and very reasonably priced. With a problem mouth like mine - since childhood - that's extremely important. If you are searching for focused, individualized and very reasonably price care with a very friendly and caring staff, look no farther! 5-Stars!

Dr. Singer and his staff do outstanding work! It is always a pleasure to meet with him. Speaking as a Senior Citizen who does NOT have dental insurance, I especially value his frankness when discussing the cost of different procedures.

From the moment you enter the door and Jaime greets you, to your cleaning with Dr. Singer, you are treated like royalty! This is a great practice with a very caring dentist, a lovely office that is very zen like, and a support staff (Jaime!) that is fabulous. If you are scared of your current dentist - give it up - and come to Singer Dentistry! By the way - Mom - no cavities!
