Upon arrival I asked if I would be able to go back with my daughter and was told yes. We had a family dentist but they quit taking our insurance so we had to find a new place for our 4 children. I filled out the paperwork waited over an hour and the same person who told me I could go back told me I wasn't allowed to Ummmm this was a new dentist for our family and we've never even met them and I asked to go back before I even did paperwork. It was disappointing to wait so long, do paperwork, then not be able to go with my kiddos. We left. We won't be back.

Good dentist; very rude and pushy office manager who gets royally hacked off if you need to change appointment date or time!

Don't take your child there if they have any fears of dentists. They don't allow parents back there bc they say kids do better without them...that part I get. What I don't get, is my child being back in a chair for over 30 minutes only to come out terrified, bawling and them saying "we tried to get her to open her mouth but couldn't" rather than coming and telling me she was upset and having anxiety, they decided to just try and force it themselves. For 30+ minutes my child was terrified and no one told me! Then they told me she'd have to go to a ped dentist...so not only did they waste my time, they were going to pawn her of on someone else bc that was easier than letting come back there and calm her down and hold her hand for just the shot to numb her gums. I am sad that I allowed them to terrify my child in this way, devastated I had no idea what was going on for 30 minutes, and now having to hold my child bc she is so terrified. Thankfully we called a dentist in Shawnee who told us to bring her in immediately so she could just talk to my daughter, no visit, no fees, just sit and talk to her to tell her not all dentists are like that and that mom or dad can be back there if she needs a little help being brave for a few minutes. Her appointment is next week and I'm hoping this incident doesn't make her fear the dentist for life. We will never go back again.
