I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for my undergraduate studies and continued my education at the University of Illinois-Chicago where I received my doctor of dental surgery degree. After graduating, my passion for dentistry grew as I got the opportunity to practice at a busy office in Lincoln Park where I further developed as a clinician. I was raised nearby in Niles and now I am very excited about the opportunity to be able to practice near my hometown.
I am married to my wife Reema, who is a pediatric dentist practicing in the Chicago area. We have a one year old daughter named Siena who we keeps us on our toes. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with our family and friends, traveling and being outdoors. I am an avid Chicago sports fan and try to watch as many games as possible.
Dr. Dhir was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Prior to dental school, she earned a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo.
Dr. Dhir is constantly expanding her dental education by taking continuing education classes on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most up to date techniques and technology to her patients. She is a standing member of the American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Dhir currently resides in Chicago with her husband Ricky and son Davin. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her friends & family, cooking and working out. She also loves to travel and experience new foods and cultures. Dr. Dhir looks forward to meeting you!

My family has been going here a few years now and we greatly appreciate everything about the Team at Simply Teeth. Concern and attention to the one in the chair is very apparent. The Doctors really take the time to know their patients and the rest of the team does as well. Thanks Simply Teeth!! P.S. (To the readers of the review) --- You still need to brush your teeth twice a day!

Had a great time at Simply Dentist! Dr. Dhir told me about things that my previous dentist didn't catch. Very informative. The hygienist was also very nice. The receptionist was also very helpful and kind. Will be coming back again!

I was recently seen in office by Dr.Patel for a tooth extraction and he made sure the whole process was pain free. His dental hygienist took the time to review post extraction instructions and Teresa was a great help to schedule follow up appointments.

I was asked to add my review so I am doing it. I have been here a few times. I got a cleaning from one of the dentists and honestly I didn't feel a difference. Usually my teeth feel super clean and I didn't get that. The cleaning was only like 15 minutes long which I thought was strange. It was extremely rushed. I then saw Dr Patel for another concern and he was rushing me, he said he had to go home when I was discussing the price of something that would cost close to $1,000. He was very rough also and made my jaw sore. For the most part, the dental assistants are amazing and so is Teresa in the front desk. Bottomline, they rush a lot and dentist are rough.

I'm really surprised by the high reviews. The dentist screwed up 2 fillings that forced me to eat on only one side of my mouth, he was very aggressive when injecting me with novacaine, and the entire time he seemed like he was in a rush. I definitely did not feel taken care of and I've never experience this level of unprofessionalism.

The girls are very kind but the Indian man is the worst, unprofessional, very bad attitude when speaking, I do not recommend him at all, I have a serious basic problem, which I will have to treat sooner or later, I am aware of that, today I have a simple infection, I went to this place and this person simply did not want to attend to me, because he says that I should see another specialist (which is true ), but at that time I needed him to prescribe an antibiotic to stop an infection, and he spoke to me in a very bad way, arrogant, let's see, if you treat a patient like that... sorry for having this problem, I didn't mean to bother you! !! (I'm being ironic). This person must be used to treating patients badly who pay him the day to day salary. A shame because the other dentists are the best, very friendly, and make you feel at all times that everything will be fine, but this guy ruins the whole place. I better look for another dentist who treats my problem with a little better vibe, you are not the last coke in the desert, there are many dentists out there with much, much more tact towards a patient with dental problems. I will never set foot in that place again.

I would highly recommend them. They have very friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable staff. They are upfront about pricing and knew what my insurance would cover when I walked in the door. Great place with a great staff! Dr. Patel was wonderful!

The office is very clean and the staff is very nice. I believe there are members of the staff that are bilingual as well. I am not someone who enjoys going to the dentist. I'm not sure why, I've never had a bad experience, but I always get anxiety when I visit. The staff really seems to take this into account. They even have a pre-appointment screening that you can fill out. I feel like they did a very good job explaining things before they were going to happen in an attempt to make my time there as pleasant as possible. After my appointment was over a staff member named Teresa went out of her way to discuss my options based on my insurance. This place does not feel like they are in the business of upselling you on all of the products that seem to be popular today. Whitening, straightening, shaping... I believe they might offer some of these services however it is not something they are pushing on their customers. At the end of the day, I feel very good about this office and I will make this my permanent office.

Wow! I am beyond impressed and grateful to the staff. Having a huge fear of dental procedures made me stay away from the dentist for years. This staff made it flawless! I had a Deep cleaning and my very first cavity filling at 53 years old. They were BEYOND amazing. Next step Invisalign's!! Cannot recommend them enough!!

I seriously can't explain how amazing this place is!!! All of the staff are so sooo sweet and friendly. I had horrible tooth pain and was able to get an emergency root canal scheduled super quick. I couldn't believe it!!! Its thanks to them, I'm pain free and not afraid of going to the dentist now.
