Dr. Arumugam has a previous combined experience of five years as a periodontist and general dentist in India. Dr. Arumugam is uniquely qualified in being a general dentist with previous 3-year periodontics residency training in India. She graduated Summa Cum Laude as a gold medalist, University topper and with multiple scholarships including the Colgate Scholarship for highest University Examination marks from one of the premier Universities for Dentistry in India, and went on to pursue a 3-year residency specializing in Periodontics, Implantology & Laser Dentistry. She also has previous experience in University teaching as a clinical associate professor in Periodontology in India.
Dr. Arumugam has publications in peer-reviewed international dental journals and currently serves as a member of the international review board for three different International dental journals. She has broad-based experience in general dentistry practice, clinical periodontics, Implant Dentistry, Fixed & removable prosthodontics, Endodontics, Laser Dentistry, oral surgery, Invisalign and CAD-CAM restorations. Her aim is to provide comprehensive, evidence-based, expert patient care combining her passion for restorative dentistry with her experience of periodontal practice, both of which are the two pillars to establish healthy oral care for our patients.
Dr. Bai graduated from University of Toronto with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. She graduated top of her class and was awarded the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society membership. She was also awarded The Deans List for graduating top 10% of her class. She completed an intensive general practice residency program at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn. She is very excited to join Dr. Grover and his team in providing patient centered care in Stamford.
Dr. Bai believes in a conservative approach to dentistry that focuses on individual patients needs. She take time and care to listen to her patients concerns and uses evidence based dentistry to develop treatment plan that help improve her patients oral health. Integrity and professionalism is center to her practice and she holds high moral and ethical expectation for herself. Dr. Bai is always eager to learn new techniques and procedures to expand her repertoire and become a well rounded dentist. She is a kind and friendly clinician who strives to do the best for her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Bai is a big fan of indoor cycling fitness classes, her favorite is Soulcycle. She loves traveling the world and exploring new cultures and foods. She also enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, whether thats trying out new and trendy restaurants, movie nights, or picnics in the park.
Dr. Ma completed his dental training at the prestigious Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he received his DMD degree with High Honors. He was also elected to the National Dental Honor Society, which is a highly selective organization for only the most accomplished dental students.
Dr. Ma has received training in dual specialties: Periodontics, including gum surgeries and implants, and Fixed Prosthodontics (advanced restorative dentistry) at the world-renowned University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. For his outstanding performance while at the University of Pennsylvania, he received the prestigious Directors Award for being the Best Post-Doctoral Periodontal/ Prosthesis Resident of the Year.
Dr. Ma recently served as a Clinical Professor at the University of Pennsylvania and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He has lectured extensively in the United States as well as internationally on minimally invasive implant surgery, which uses CT-guided 3-dimensional implant placement visualization.

Why I can't give a 0 stars?? This is the WORST dental office in Stamford and around. Staff is totally unprofessional and rude. By the time I got there it was like 4 employees there but no one couldn't help me. Those two ladies at front were talking the whole time thinking that nobody were there. And I don't even want to talk about the cost, very, very pricy, way more than any other dental place in Stamford. They only care about the money they can get from you. The cost is extremely expense comparing with other places. I don't think I will be going back to that dental office again. DON'T GO THERE. You gonna waist your time and your money and that place is not even nice.

Dr. Grover is an incredible dentist who truly cares about his patients. His "bedside manner" is top notch, especially with children. The technology he uses is the best I've ever seen at a dentist (Tony Stark?) and to top it off, his pricing is more than fair. Recently, my family moved over an hour away and tried another dentist, only to return after my 5 and 7 year old children requested to stay with Dr. Grover regardless of the drive. He is that good. Dr. Grover does suffer from the same issue that all caring, patient-centric doctors suffer from, namely that they're always busy, which often causes a wait. For my family, the trade off is well worth the exceptional service.

Not the place to come if you have dental anxiety. I was simply told "you're fine" while having an anxiety attack during a cleaning even though this place had noted they're good with people with dental anxiety and I notified them in advance. Staff was nice, and I'm sure they're a fine place to go if you're not extremely anxious around dental procedures, but if you do have dental anxiety- go elsewhere.

I literally HATE going to the dentist because I don't like pain and it's probably just my anxiety but I cry nearly every time I go no matter what haha. However, the doctors are so nice and understanding and they've always made me feel comfortable. The assistants/receptionists are also very nice. I will keep coming here

Dr. Grover has helped me keep my 83 year old smile bright for several years now! I have complete confidence in him! The staff is friendly and professional. Because the office is so busy you may have to be a 'patient' patient. The front desk workers are courteous and competent. Your visit will be rewarded with great results!

If i could give a 0-star i would. one month ago i made an appt as a new patient, they canceled. and asked me to send them my insurance detail and they wanted to review those and call me back to tell me if they take my insurance or not. I sent them all my details, and no call back at all. Today i call them to follow up, since i feel like they just scammed my personal information. and sure enough they treat my terrible, they don't listen, they don't answer anything you ask them, they want you to send everything again, and then they tell me how i am supposed to talk to them. guess what they are being jerks, and sure enough that's how they will not get new patients. there are plenty of dentists in stamford or around. fix your attitude and treat patients with respekt and don't steel personal information and maybe then you get new patients. i a furious, i lost an entire month.

My filling fell out and the office got me an appointment immediately. I saw Dr Pannu and she was amazing. She was extremely nice and so efficient. I didn't feel a thing! I felt confident and secure in her hands. Her assistant Petty was so comforting during the procedure. I would highly recommend this team.

During my visit, there was no work done. I was running late so I called the dental office to inform them that I was running late. The person at the front desk advised me that she will let the doctor know. When I got there the first thing the doctor (Dr. Pannu) said was, you're late for your appointment. I stated that I spoke with the person at the front desk, and I was told it was okay. The doctor then stated because I'm late there wouldn't be much, she can work on. I need a cap placed on my front tooth she stated that my insurance didn't approve the request and that I can pay out of pocket. She said that's what happens when you have state insurance and not private. I felt she was judging me because I have state insurance. She then stated will since you were late what are we doing today. She knows what is in my chart, why ask? I took it as she didn't want to service me. Rather than her stating that she couldn't see me because her day was full and to reschedule, she decided to handle it this way. I felt very uncomfortable and left. I don't think I will be going back to that dental office again. I will be writing a formal complaint to my insurance.

Very good experience on my first visit with Dr. Arumugam and her x-ray technician. They were gentle and thorough in the procedures. Dr. Arumugam reviewed my x-rays with me and carefully explained the condition of my teeth and gums. I highly recommend Simply Dental.

Simply dental of Stamford welcomed me with care. As a first time patient, they were very professional to assist me with care. I was a bit skeptical about this location. However I was referred by my sister. I was not aware that Doctor Madhu takes care most of my family members. I'm so grateful that I was her patient today. she really made me feel calmed, and comfortable, she also answered all my concerns. Dr.Mudha did a periodontal cleaning and it was smooth and fast. In the past I went to Dr. Dental and I know they did not put attention to my urgent issues. I am glad that I gave this place a chance because I really needed this urgent attention. I am so grateful to know that Dr. Mudha exist in Simply dental of Stamford. I really recommend her as your family dentist, or anyone in this place because for sure they all pay attention to your needs. I really recommend this Simply-Dental Of Stamford Office.
