Dr. Poest graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2010. He immediately fled the cold and headed to Austin where he has been practicing ever since. He dragged his beautiful girlfriend and now wife, Stacie, with him. They enjoy the great restaurants Austin has to offer. You can find them regularly at any one of the music venues around town or hiking with their two dogs, Clark and Harry. During Dr. Poest's time practicing dentistry here in town, he focused on using the latest technology to provide patients with the best crowns and bridges available. He noticed that even though the technology was getting better and the work was getting simpler, prices continued to skyrocket, making dentistry increasingly unaffordable. Dr. Poest became frustrated with this trend and decided it was time to disrupt the industry. Dr. Poest is proud to say that he believes his work is paying off, and that this is just the beginning of making top quality dentistry affordable for everyone.
Dr. Bhakta obtained a BA and BS degree in Biology and Neurobiology from UT Austin, and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2008. He hopes to build caring and lasting relationships while caring for your complete oral health needs. Dr. Bhakta enjoys traveling, playing golf, tennis, and volleyball along with watching college football during his spare time. He, his wife and 2-year-old son also like to go out and experience the many different things to do and see in and around the Austin area.
Dr. Talebloo is from New Orleans and graduated from Louisiana State University Dental School. Her goal is to provide you with a dental experience that is free of anxiety and fear. She is dedicated to helping you and providing the absolute best dental care to you and your family. Outside the office, she enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Talebloo also loves to travel and experience new adventures.
Dr. Valerie Williams was born and raised in Brady, Texas, where she attended Brady High School. During high school, Dr. Williams was involved in many student organizations such as band, student council, National Honor Society, and PALS (Peer Assistance Leadership Program). After graduating high school, Dr. Williams went on to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and in May 2004 received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Williams continued her education and went on to graduate from Baylor College of Dentistry in May 2011, where she was a member of Psi Omega Fraternity, Asian Dental Society, and Student National Dental Association. When she is not working, she enjoys working out, working on home projects, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Williams stays up-to-date with her continuing education so that she can stay abreast of new technology. Dr. Williams enjoys giving back to her community and has done so by participating in Texas Mission of Mercy Program (TMOM) which provides charitable basic dental care to Texans. Dr. Williams strives to treat each patient as a family member and considers it an honor and privilege to serve others and provide quality dental treatment.

I worked for Simply Crowns as a dental assistant for almost five years. They really are good people, and they do consistently high quality work. I had a great experience working there.

They will fire you just for having a surgery and not being able to work just because your full time I guess they're employees life don't matter so why would they care about the patients

I couldn't be more pleased With Simply Crowns! Everything about that place is awesome. I was able to get two crowns for the price of one at my dentist. Dr Talebloo is great. Wish she could be my regular dentist. Their whole staff is professional and welcoming. I especially enjoyed Shawna and Nelson. Do not hesitate to go there if you are informed by your dentist that you are in need of a crown.

The lady dentist was PHENOMENAL! She was literally able to numb the tooth and the surrounding teeth without my entire left side being Numb. Now I believe that takes precision and a certain level of expertise to do. I use to hate going to the dentist but now I have a little less fear. Thanks!

just spend 24 minutes on hold and at 5pm get the message. "You've reached us after office hours", ugh, but Kyle called back the next day and did a great job taking my appointment. 2 visits in and the staff is super friendly, professional and done a great job so far. I'm very impressed with how they genuinely want to take care of you and this goes for every person so far I've had contact with. Going in, I thought, what's the catch? They are doing the work my dentist quoted (after insurance) at a lower price. Not only have I saved money, I've had a better experience with quality work. There's no catch. Great job Simply Crowns! I won't go anywhere else for a crown and BTW I drive 60 miles to them one way. It's worth it.

Highly recommend, not just because of cost but because they do great work. I've had a lot of dental work through the years for many different reasons, fillings, crowns, implants, etc. My experience at Simply Crowns was awesome. I did the "free evaluation" which was actually free with no obligation. The work identified was the same as what my regular dentist recommended; I needed 3 crowns. The price was right at 1/3 the cost of what my regular dentist had quoted. Simply Crowns quote was basically I get 3 crowns for the price of one with the same work plan. Work was divided into 4 sessions, prep/install 2 crowns then the other one. There's a 2 week wait between prep and installation, this is normal. Not a single complication, 2 crowns in for over a month now. Service was excellent from start to finish. Office staff was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Balderas was excellent, easily one of the top dentist I've visited for work. He explains everything very well. From the shot to completion of the work service all went great. I even needed an expedite on 2 of the crowns due to some prearranged travel. There was a small fee for getting 2 crowns expedited but again they made it happen without a hitch. Update 11/7/2020: It's been about a year since Simply Crowns did my dental work. I'm still very satisfied with all the work, not a single issue or tweak needed. Every crown is working perfectly!

Professional, knowledgeable owner and staff, efficient, quality work, friendly and cares about patients and their comfort. The price is significantly lower than paying with insurance! I paid out of pocket for my crown. They made sure I was comfortable and knew what was happening at each step. Great at giving shots too - and I hate needles! I will always use them and recommend to everyone.

Please note I have driven down from Dallas for this service. I was referred by a friend and truthfully thought this is TOO!! good to be true. I am a testimonial that not only was it worth the 3 1/2 hour drive; I found extremely competent individuals in the office. Dr. Poest was fabulous in helping me determine the proper treatment. This place is amazing. I went in thinking I needed a crown and found I have an abscessed tooth. There was no charge. I highly recommend dr Balderas. My husband had crown work done with them and was totally pleased. We are clients for life.

I'd give them 10 stars if I could. They've totally nailed the crown business. Properly equipped and trained, this practice specializes in crowns, and does it at a more-than-fair price. And, believe it or not, they make it pleasant if not fun! My regular dentist told me I needed 14 crowns, at $1600 apiece. I'd had my eight upper front teeth veneered 21 years ago (expensive!), and wasn't thrilled to be told they needed replacement at a cost of almost $14K! I went to simply crowns for a second opinion. I'm 72 years old. I mean, how much longer do I want/ need them to last? The consult was excellent. Full set of x-rays, really nice staff. Dr. Ben Poest took a lot of time with me, and basically asked me my objectives. I told him 1) functioning teeth 2) no pain in the mouth and 3), nice looking would be a bonus. He told me I needed NO immediate anything! It was up to me to determine how to proceed, based upon my desires and budget. Good answer!! If you want a really nice smile (which I've NEVER had), it's good to do all the front teeth, uppers and lowers, so the crown technicians can make them fit and match properly. So I decided to do the ten upper and lower teeth. For $12k, a totally new (bullet-proof!) smile that will last the rest of my life. That's compared to $32-50K for these "one day makeovers." My teeth were basically sound, so no extractions or posts were indicated. You mileage may vary! Now I will say that the prospect of having you 20 front teeth ground down and capped is a little intimidating. But the actual procedure is not that bad. No pain at all. Amazing looking "temporaries" for two weeks, then the new crowns in about an hour. No pain involved. My new smile exceeds my wildest expectations. I am thrilled. Dr. Poest, please accept my gratitude, and tell your staff I am so thankful for their care and expertise. (Not to mention them all have world-class smiles!! ) A totally great operation, of which you can be truly proud. THANK YOU for top-notch service at a great price. Keep up the good work!

Dr. Balderas and his Dental Assistant Caitlin at Simply Crowns did a great job replacing my bridge. Caitlin made sure my bite was perfect before I left, she's an asset to this business. I highly recommend Simply Crowns of Cedar Park.
