Dr. Kamiti U. Harden is a native of Natchez, Mississippi. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Tougaloo College in 1995 and continued her educational training to earn a Master of Education in chemistry from Alcorn State University in 1997. In pursuit of her childhood dream of becoming a dentist, Dr. Kamitigraduated from Meharry Medical College with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2001.
After dental school, Dr.Kamiti advanced her training by completing a general practice residency at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2002. While in the program, she accepted her call to become a childrens advocate, a passion of hers since dental school. She completed her training at Howard University College of Dentistry, where she obtained her certificate in pediatric dentistry. Dr.Kamiti has continued her love of working with children in local Atlanta-Metro practices from 2004-2007. She has been serving the Savannah area since 2007.
Dr.Kamiti has received numerous honors for her outstanding performance in dentistry, including serving as chief resident at Howard University. She is also a member of many professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Georgia Dental Association.

Parents welcome to accompany their children through treatment. While some pediatric dental offices restrict parents from coming with their children to the treatment rooms, we encourage it. We know that we need to earn your trust, and we want you to see how well we treat your child.
We offer calming dental sedation.Weoffer several Nitrous Oxide Sedation (Laughing Gas), when necessary, for children who are anxious or nervous about treatment.Nitrous oxide is a safe and effective sedative agent that is mixed with oxygen and inhaled through a small mask.

Amenities for Kids and Parents.We designed our office with you and your childs comfort in mind. We have games for the kids, and quiet, relaxing areas for the adults. Our hygiene bays have flat screen TVs above the chairs so you child can watch movies while we clean their teeth.
Happy Visits.If your child is afraid or nervous about visiting the Dentist, ask us about our happy visits. This is where we introduce them to our office without dental work being done, so that they become more comfortable.
Financial Options.Insurance is welcomed and accepted at our practice. We work with you to maximize your childs benefits. We are in-network with most Dental PPO plans. We also accept Medicaid, Peach State and WellCare. We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard,Discover, and offer third party Patient Financing.

I will be finding my daughter a new dentist after today's appointment. The wait was extremely long (30+ minutes) & even after we were taken to the back, there was an additional 10 minute wait. I also had a dentist appointment today that I had to literally cancel while in the waiting area. Staff was not as friendly as the first time we came. The Dr. was very aggressive with my daughter and talked to her as if she wasn't 3 years old (very mean tone, not playful at all like the assistant was). She then had the nerve to tell me my child needs speech therapy, which we both know she is not qualified to make that suggestion, even after I told her that the pediatrician didn't bring it up, she kept hounding me about it, by suggesting places I should go to get it checked out, which wasted another 5-7 minutes of my time. She seemed very judgmental & as if she did not want to be there. My child was visibly uncomfortable as the Dr. sat in front of her making her repeat certain words back to her & then proceeding to look at my daughter as if she was not exceeding her expectations. BTW, there is absolutely nothing wrong with my childs' speech. Very disappointed & I will not be returning.

HORRIBLE, Turnover rate extremely HIGH everybody there is very nice and understanding even when it comes down to the assistant but the doctor RUDE and she think everyone's on her time all my appointments I'm always there for HOURSfinding my kid a new office but I most definitely give a round of applause to her 2 assist they heavy seat lady and the short darkskin they made sure I was okay and was on point with the updates

My child came in for a filling and Dr. Harden knows that he is very anxious so she and her staff do as much as they can to ease his nerves. I'm very happy with the work they did for him., but most importantly is that he is happy with the work they do for him.

I am frustrated with myself because my 2 daughters have used this dentist office. I have always felt we have been charged greatly more than other dentists but because I liked the staff and I hate changing and having to go through meeting new doctors and new staff we have stayed. Because they were unable to fill one daughters cavities, I have sent her to an adult dentist and come to find out for the same treatment that I have for my other child would be $48 at adult dentist I use, which Dr. Howard's staff and dentist just as good, yet Simply Dentistry it's going to be$179 for the exact same treatment I understand Dentist can price things as they choose to I'm sure lease cost might be different and have different expenses but I think a $131 in difference is more than it should be. I'm mad at myself for wanting to be loyal and resistant to change as my girls have had to change dentist several times in past due to insurance changes, dentist moved, ect. It's so difficult to find good service at good price. Now that she has had xrsys/cleaning/ect and appt, guess we will pay the $131 increase and in 6 months go with the office that offers much more competitive rates with quality work. Shop around as for one 30 minute service to pay extra $131 it's worth the time and effort.

I was looking for a festive fun place for my daughter to begin her teeth cleanings & etc. I found Dr."flowers"on google , made the appt and they took really good care of my daughter Emelia. Can't wait to see what the future holds. Good atmosphere & Exceptional front desk. Coming from a former receptionist, we don't get the credit we deserve and the young lady on the front desk on Monday was awesome ! Keep up the good work ladies !!

Good service for my initial visit And some of the staff was Friendly staff. However my second appointment was awful. The Doctor was late. We arrived before her. They put us in a room where we waited for an hour. I complained about the wait time and explained I had an appointment scheduled this afternoon I had to make and this wait time was unacceptable at that time is when she finally decided to come in the room. By this time my grandson was aggravated and I was as well. I don't think I will be returning to this practice. Hopefully I can find a more professional practice to be a part of
