Although the orthotic treatment I received here from Dr Adler seemed to help some with my TMJD symptoms, the clear correct treatment I received was very detrimental and a huge waste of money and time. Unfortunately, despite my reporting of my bite getting continually worse from each aligner, no new scans were performed and no changes in my future aligners were made. The clear correct website even describes how this should happen if bite issues appear. I stopped treatment after 14 trays because by then none of my back teeth touched. In fact, I only had one front tooth making contact with the bottom teeth. Eating was beyond difficult at that point. I sought 2nd opinions from 2 orthodontists that were appalled at how bad my bite/teeth alignment had become. Both said I would only have success with regular braces. Both do use aligners on many patients and I know this because I know adults and children seeing both who are in aligners. So my advice is if you need aligners, go to an orthodontist not a dentist at this office.

I have been a patient of Simply Beautiful Smiles (and its predecessor practice) for greater than 24 years. The office staff from the receptionists to the dentists have always been accessible and professional. Heather, the dental hygienist, is in particular extremely thorough and gentle. All of the clinical staff deliver excellent and compassionate care! What keeps this practice from a five star rating is the ineptitude of the billing service. I have tried 3 times last week and three times this morning to speak to anyone at the number printed on the statement. Each attempt was met with a voicemail indicating that I would be contacted by the end of the next business day. Eight days later I have still not received a text, email, or phone call to discuss the most recent statement from them. The statement is at best confusing and not interpretable. I spent the better part of the afternoon in the office with the office manager who was also unable to speak to anyone in the billing office. For superb clinical care, this is the practice. However, beware of the billing office!

Dr. Adler made an appliance to help with my TMJ -- so far I have seen a vast improvement in my symptoms. Prior to seeing Dr. Adler I suffered from headaches and at times migraines 2-3 times a week which required pain medication on a pretty consistent basis -- now only after 3 weeks with the appliance I have only had 1 headache and did not need any pain medication. Thank you Dr. Adler!

Dr Birin is one of the best doctors I've ever met in my entire life. He removed my wisdom teeth (age 32). I had 5 of them. His bedside manner is unlike anything I've ever seen in my life. I have severe anxiety and he was unbelievably kind, patient and professional and understanding. I wish he practiced every type of medicine. You won't find another doctor like Dr Birin. I 100 percent recommend to anyone who needs any type of oral surgery.

The dentist was great. However, apparently this company does not know how to properly deal with and bill insurance. Months after paying the bill IN FULL, you get MORE BILLS because the practice does not know how to follow insurance plans directions, and their lack of knowledge and ability to follow rules can leave you with surprise bills of HUNDREDS TO THOUSANDS that YOU are somehow responsible for. Terrible front desk duo as well. Really disappointing that such a talented dentist in Dr. Nguyen is marred by the supporting cast.

A few months ago, I started getting acute jaw pain, several times a day. While I was at the office for my regular hygiene appointment, I mentioned the problem. They got me in to see Dr. Adler right away. He diagnosed my problem as TMJ. Dr. Adler got me a TMJ appliance, to wear at night. Within a few days of wearing it every night, the pain stopped. In the past two months since I have been using the appliance, I've only had two brief, mild episodes. Very happy with the results! Thanks, Dr. Adler & SBS!

The staff and Dr. are always very courteous and professional. I've spent many hours in different dentist's chairs and I'm very pleased with the attentiveness of staff, Dr. Adler, and I have found the billing staff to be flexible and willing to work with my dental and implant insurance needs. I would highly recommend this office for new patients. I've been too so many dentists and od orthodontists, my root canals have root canals, better than 50k for a whole mouth rip and replace, I feel like I'm with family here..Happy New Year

Dr. Adler at Simply Beautiful Smiles is an absolute crook and a criminal. He scammed my Mother out of nearly $10,000. Without getting into too many details, he admitted that my Mom was owed money, but constantly delays, makes excuses, and avoids paying her the money that she's rightfully owed. For example, he charged her for the same extraction TWICE! He charged her for bone grafts without placing bone grafts. Why do you even need bone grafts if you don't plan on getting implants????? My mom is now missing multiple teeth due the sloppy dental work provided by Dr. Adler. Once I watched him prepare to cement a permanent crown in her mouth (which failed 4 months later) WITHOUT SHOWING HER FIRST, on a front tooth. I raised my concerns to SBS management and, although they agreed that she was owed money, unfortunately they will not do anything but offer to fix the issues that he caused. I was told that multiple patients had the same complaint about Dr. Adler and yet he is still a part of the practice...why? I took my Mother to my dentist, who is a renowned dentist in my area, and he was shocked at the way that a crown was placed by Dr. Adler. Dr. Adler - I tried to work this out with you internally, but you fail to do the right thing and refund money that is owed. My Mother deserves to be refunded for the fraudulent dental charges and negligent dental work, which has resulted in major tooth loss. The physical and financial impact that you've caused for her life makes me absolutely sick. You should be ashamed of yourself. Also, get it together and stop sending her bills in the mail. She doesn't owe you anything and you know that. Your greed is showing. My mom is STILL PAYING the CareCredit that you convinced her to apply for. Be a decent human being and fix this. Update 3/18/21: Still no refund for the negligent, failed dental work.

If you are having problems withTMJ, this is the place to go. Dr. Ira Adler works miracles and can get that aching, popping, clicking and grinding in the jaw to subside and stop. I am so grateful for his help. The best!

Absolutely LOVE this place. I've been traumatized by my previous dentist and let me tell you, this place is beyond AMAZING. I've been scared to go to the dentist for the past 4 years & no longer have any fears. Dr Lisa and her assistant are wonderful, walked me through everything and made me feel comfortable. Everybody in the office are all very nice! Safe to say I'm no longer afraid of the dentist! It's all about finding the right place and this ones it!!!!!!

I have severe TMJ dysfunction. I have seen other "TMJ specialists" including board certified oral surgeons in the past. None have been able to help me with my issue. I have been seeing Dr. Adler for a few months now and the improvement is really impressive. I was not able to open my jaw fully when I first saw him and there was a very loud click sound. I was very self conscious about it and it was very painful. After just a few months of wearing the custom appliances I have no more clicking and I can open up a lot more! I didn't realize how it was affecting a lot of other areas of my life before he explained to me just what I was dealing with. He is a great doctor and knows what he is doing! Highly recommend.

I have been going to Dr. John Spagnola for close to 50yrs. I wouldn't want any other dentist. He has helped me out in times of need. He is the BEST.. Also i am 65 yes old and still have my own teeth. The whole team is great..
