Dr. Simonsen graduated from Dixie College in 1972, and completed his undergraduate studies at Utah State University, earning a degree in Biology. He then attended dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his class. Dr. Simonsen later graduated from Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, where he specialized in Orthodontics.
Dr. Simonsen specializes in preventive orthodontics and early treatment (before a patient has all permanent teeth). He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists.
Now in his 40th year of marriage, Dr. Simonsen has seven children and 12 grandchildren. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time on his ranch in northern Utah and being active in local church and community projects.Dr. Simonsen has been anOrthodontist in St George, UTsince 1982and has offices located in downtown St George, UT; Hurricane, UT;and Gallup, NM.

I saw dr. Simonson in 4th grade for retainer, head gear and braces and then retainer again. This was the year 1988-1993. Dr. Simonson is hands down the BEST orthodontist there ever was! I never leave reviews much, but this guy has been in practice for a VERY long time. He is seasoned and professional and knows every thing about the mouth, etc. He is so kind and patient and I have never forgotten him. I had braces on my top and bottom teeth for the past year. Dr. Simonsen and his staff were very good to work with. I never had to wait long at my appointments and they got me in and out as quick as they good. He allowed me to make monthly payments which helped make the braces affordable. I would recommend Simonsen Orthodontics to any of my friends or family.

I went in to have a permanent retainer removed, and he DIDN'T WEAR GLOVES OR WASH HIS HANDS BETWEEN PATIENTS. The removal went well, I only wish it had been more hygienic.
