Dr. Russell is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended North Carolina State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in Human Biology and a minor in Art and Design. Dr. Russell attended dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
While in dental school, she was elected student body president and received the American College of Dentists Outstanding Leadership award. After graduating she obtained an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the VA Long Beach. In her free time, Dr. Russell enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with her husband.
