Dr. Simms is a native of American Falls, Idaho. He graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in Microbiology/Medical Technology Emphasis in 1998. He then attended Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska where he was named to the Deans List. After his graduation in 2002, Dr. Simms completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Idaho State University before settling in Boise, 2003.
Dr. Simms and his wife, Tona have a son , Cruz and a two daughters, Gabriela and Olivia. Dr. Simms is a typical active parent, taking them to their activities and coaching them in their sports. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Simms enjoys any kind of sporting activity, exercising, being with his family and enjoying the outdoors.
Jodi has been a dental assistant since winter 2001. She began her dental career in a pediatric dental office, and became part of our team in spring 2002 when she graduated from American Institute of Health Technology. Jodis favorite aspect of dentistry is building relationships with her patients and co-workers, and helping others gain self-confidence through better dental health. Jodi and her husband Dale were married in 2016. Their interests include traveling, shooting sports, exploring Idaho via snowmobile/ATV/UTV, spectator sports, occasionally playing golf and tennis, and watching movies together. They enjoy sharing the outdoors with their family and having quality time with their children and 3 dogs. On her own, Jodi enjoys cooking, reading historical biographies and researching her family ancestry.
Jen is an Idaho native and has spent the last 25 years in the dental field. She graduated from Boise State Universitys dental assisting program in 1993 and has enjoyed many aspects of the dental field including clinical assisting, treatment coordinating, team leading and patient scheduling. She is currently loving her new position as our front office manager and looks forward to meeting and visiting with everyone that comes into the office!! Jen and her husband Darin have two grown boys, Jaden and Bryson and two spoiled Golden retrievers, Farley and Fletcher. They enjoy lots of camping, hiking, fishing, and spending time together exploring new places. She also loves to cook, garden, and read until football season starts, then its all about the NY Giants.
Michelle started her dental career as an orthodontic assistant. After five years of assisting she attended dental hygiene school inIdaho. She has been practicing hygiene since 2006. She attended a laser course in Arizona to become certified in laser therapy and continues her education by attending advanced courses in periodontal therapies andoral health annually. She enjoys helping her patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visit.
Michelle was born in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to Boise, Idahoat age 12. She loves spending time with her husband and son. She also adores her Shih-Tzu and Pomeranian. Michelle lovesbeingactive inrunning, road biking, and hiking. She is passionate about natural health and nutrition.
Originally from Spokane, Washington, Debbie received her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University in 1982. She has been a member of this practice since 1989 when she began working on Dr. Bob Gudmundsens team. Debbie and her husband, Phil, have two daughters, Paige and Brooke. When away from the office, Debbie enjoys her bowling league, scrapbooking, golfing, and skiing. She also enjoys reading, watching most sports, and travelling.
