Dr. Simmonds is a graduate of the Howard University College of Dentistry. After receiving the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1999, she completed an additional year of hospital based advance dental surgery and comprehensive dental care residency at Howard University Hospital.
Dr. Simmonds is committed to a standard of excellence that is driven by her desire to continue learning as time and technology advances. Clients of Simmonds Dental Center receive the latest advancements in cosmetic dentistry including; Invisalign, Lumineers, Zoom Whitening, soft-tissue laser treatments, tooth-colored fillings, root canals, crowns/bridges, dentures/partials, minor oral surgery and dental implants. Her practice utilizes hospital grade sterilization equipment, digital X-rays, intra-oral cameras, Caesy patient education system and provides televisions with wireless headphones in each room.
Dr. Simmonds has completed dentistry and full mouth rehabiliation at The Frank Spear Institute For Advanced Dental Education, attended The Misch International Implant Institute where she earned recognition as a Surgical Implant Fellow, is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentist and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Simmonds is the Dentists dentist. In 2013, she was recognized by her Peers for her practice of Cosmetic Dentistry and in 2012, received distinction as one of Americas Top Dentist. Prior to opening the highly praised and renowned Simmonds Dental Center in Orlando, Florida, Dr. Simmonds treated clients in the Bahamas, Maryland and Washington, DC.
She is the proud wife of Alric Simmonds, MD and is a loving mother to her three children AJ, Seth and Sariah. As a mother, she understands the dental needs of families. Dr. Simmonds enjoys delivering exceptional compassionate service and cares to patients of all ages. All of this has positively added to her reputation as one of the friendliest dentists in Orlando. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, art, reading and spending quality time with her family.
