An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Always a friendly staff that takes time to answer your questions. They stand by their work, provide good care and have varied financing options available if needed. I've been going to Dr Setareh for years and intend to keep visiting!!

A year ago, I couldn't have given this recommendation. I actually complained to the corporate office. A previous dentist there set a tone for this office that was just horrendous. That DDS is now gone and a lovely man is in that position. He was kind, patient, and took his time on my work. The assistant, Katharine, is the other reason the office is now on the five star list. She was always wonderful but the issue with the previous DDS overshadowed everything. What a sweet person Katharine is! Now the office is low key, relaxing, and was pleasant to be in (for being a DDS office, lol).

The dentist and assistant are great! The customer service is horrific! They are so overwhelmed that they never return calls. If you get an appointment plan on waiting a half hour. Once you see the debtist you will be fine.

Worst service ever. Force you to come in for back to back consulting appt, to take x-rays every time, spend 2 minutes with you and say come back for another appointment. And once you get there and you sit and wait for an hour and a half even though you have an appointment. It's a money-making scam even if there is a half a decent dentist there I will not be back. And I have good insurance and a lot of dental problems they're going to miss out

Love my new denture! Fit perfectly and no sores from chewing. Would definitely recommend for dentures. Office staff is efficient and friendly.

I had two root canals and two crowns and the whole experience was absolutely painless except for the anesthetic. It's ironic that the anesthetic is the most painful part.

The entire staff was super friendly and the front desk was very helpful when checking in and filling out the initial paperwork! Dr. Setareh was truly wonderful and all of the assistants were so nice! Katherine kept me in the loop the entire time and I have nothing but kind words for all of them!

Dr Setareh is the only dentist I will go to! She is amazing!! I have extreme anxiety when it comes to dentist and she is the only one to put me at ease when I go! The office staff is amazing by as well the receptionist Marvi always helps to book my appointments around my crazy work schedule and the assistants that help Dr Setareh are just as great as her! They help keep you calm all while doing the best dental work and are very quick at getting you in and out! This is by far one of the best dentist offices I have ever been to! I thank all of them and will continue to come here!

I had the best experience at this office. First Elisabeth helped with my xrays and was so gentle since my tooth was broken and super sweet. Dr. Setareh was amazing and eased my mind and pain. Then came Kat who put on my temporary crown and she was awesome, super kind and patient and finally Mimi who helped ease my mind about the financial aspect. They have a wonderful team of kind and caring people i could not recommend them enough.

The WORST dentist experience. I absolutely loved my dental hygienist at Avenue of smiles, Nina. Going to see her was like going to see an old friend, always such a pleasure and she actually cared about my teeth and rejoiced in the progress we made! I couldn't have asked for better. Unfortunately, we switched insurance and I went to see Dr. Setareh and she barely spent maybe 10 minutes on my teeth at most and kept complaining about how she can't do anything because they're bleeding too much and it's too painful for me. She repeatedly said I grind my teeth so I need to get fitted for a sleep guard, for which I'm definitely getting a second opinion because I'm not too sure about that. I'll try to keep it in mind though. The assistant Marlee (I think that's her name) is the absolute worst!! She repeatedly lied to me. Told me that she would call me if she had any openings after scheduling my appointment months out and I never heard from her. She told me this several times to the point where I didn't even bother scheduling the appointment thinking they'll have openings for sure. Then she told me repeatedly she would email me my referral and of course never did. Then I called to follow up and asked to have the referral emailed to me and of course, never heard from her. I'm definitely switching dentists.

Honestly the best service I've ever had at the dentis!!! going to the dentist in general is scary and I've been prolonging a issue I've had for a long time and I finally made a appointment and my nerves were racing and they honestly calmed me and made me feel so welcomed and safe! I appreciate the whole staff there and I would recommend them to anyone. they honestly made it happen for me and I'm completely grateful for them!

First of all, Dr. Ramina is the coolest dentist EVER! For the first time in my life, I'm excited to get dental work done because the entire team at Simi Valley Smiles has such a warm and caring energy. Patient comfort is prioritized and I was treated so respectfully. I feel extremely confident at this office that all of my needs will be met with a high level of compassion and attention to detail. The pricing is extremely reasonable too considering their state-of-the-art technology. If you aren't already a patient here, you should be! Switching from my old dentist to Dr. Ramina is the best decision I've ever made.
