Dr. Yashar is certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Periodontics. Dr. Yashar has achieved the highest level of training and certification possible in her profession. Dr. Yashar has also been published in the Journal of Periodontology. She is currently the president and co-founder of The Simi Valley Implant Study Club.
With more than 10 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Yashar provides her patients with the highest quality of care, and access to the newest technology there is to offer. Dr. Kaminsky then completed a special Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at U.C.L.A. He is now affiliated with the U.C.L.A. School of Dentistry and is an attending Periodontist at the Department of Veterans Affairs postgraduate Dental General Practice Residency program where he is responsible for both didactic and clinical advancement in periodontics and dental implants. He lectures on many topics including advanced treatment planning and on literature review of medical and dental journals.
Dr. Kaminsky has been practicing for over 25 years and he has been in his current location since 1991. Since he began practicing periodontics and dental implants, Dr. Kaminsky kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.
Dr. Ebrahimi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the prestigious University of Illinois at Chicago in 2010. He continued his post-doctoral education with a three year residency in periodontics and dental implantology at UIC. During his post-doctoral training, Dr. Ebrahimi also worked as a general dentist in multiple dental offices in Chicago to further advance his clinical and patient management skills.Dr. Ebrahimi became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology right after graduation. He then returned to Los Angeles and started practicing periodontics in multiple major dental offices in Southern California. He has been a part-time clinical faculty at UCLA School of Dentistry for over 7 years where he is involved with teaching the new generation of dentists. He has been involved with multiple mission trips mentoring UCLA dental students in different underserved countries around the globe.Dr. Ebrahimi is very meticulous with his technique and is known for being a perfectionist. He thrives to provide the absolute best periodontal care to his patients. He firmly believes in educating his patients about their oral health and giving them alternative options prior to committing to a final treatment plan. He maintains current membership with multiple dental societies such as American Academy of Periodontology and American Academy of Osseointegration and is always pursuing continuing education opportunities to stay up to date with the latest advances in periodontology.

No one wants to have oral surgery but when you have to this office is awesome. I was extremely nervous this time due to previous experiences. They were wonderful and I'm not in anywhere near the pain I anticipated. Thank you!

I was referred by my dentist due to an emergency tooth infection and Dr Yashar and her staff were amazing. They squeezed me in immediately the same day. I was in a lot of pain and they recognized that and were so supportive and professional. I can honestly say I have never had that level of service from the front desk to the Dr everyone showed great compassion.

If I could give more than 5 starts I would. I came to the office for my regular cleaning appointment. Brittany was my hygienist and she's AWSOME! Aside from the great conversion we had she made me feel welcomed and complemented my teeth ! She was thorough, yet gentle and now my teeth feel amazing ! Everyone in the office is great and super nice, welcoming, and helpful. I love Simi Valley Periodontics and Dr. Yashar and all their AWSOME peeps!!!!!

The entire team was very friendly and kind. I had to have a same-day emergency procedure done and they explained everything thoroughly and called me the evening after my surgery to ensure I was feeling okay and if I had any concerns.

Very nice new office! Nice staff. I would have liked Dr. Bruckner to explain the procedure he informed me that I will need to have, with a little more detail. He seemed in a bit of a rush.

The office staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The periodontist (doctor/dentist) is very personable, thorough in his exam and explains all his findings very well. I 100% recommend this practice for anyone looking for a Periodontist or for general cleanings (I also get my teeth cleaned here).

Can't say enough about the good care I've received from Simi Periodontics. From 2 no charge visits after gum surgery for concerns I had to chasing me down with my purse I had forgotten at the front desk! Expert care, professional friendly staff!
