My daughter needed to get 4 baby teeth extracted. She was a little nervous but it needed to be done. After 2 teeth were removed, Dr. Sim came out and said to me that my daughter wasn't tolerating it well and that we would need to come back to take the other 2 out at another time. I could hear her getting a little loud at times, but she didn't sound overly upset. Just loud. Keep in mind we were the only ones in the office and she was a little drugged up. I knew that if he would have stopped, bringing her back to remove the other two would have been far worse for her. He insisted that he was the professional and knew best. Okay fine. I'm my child's mother and I know her better and I do know what's best for her. So he went back and asked my daughter if she wanted to have the other two teeth removed. Guess what she said to him? Take them all out now, I don't want to come back!! So he thankfully did. His wife did come out and talk to me because he made me feel terrible and I was rather upset. She was actually really sweet. We were in the office for a few hours for the whole procedure. My daughter ended up needing 2 more baby teeth extracted. I traveled this time a little further, to another office. It took them less than 10 minutes to extract her teeth. She told me that it was so much better and she didn't want to ever go back to the first dentist who took her baby teeth out. I know that Dr. Sim strives to make it easy and doesn't want to make it traumatic for kids. Unfortunately in our case, she was happy that I didn't take her back to him for the removal of her other teeth. She never had issues after and the work he did was fine. It just took longer to have it done than probably necessary. It was just much more stressful than it needed to be.

Very thorough teeth cleaning along with mouth and gum examination. I am a fairly new patient and have been very pleased with the work that has been done so far, which included a crown. Very friendly staff also.

Dr.Sim and his assistants are always punctual with your appointment time. He is always willing to answer any question or concern.

A true gentleman, consummate professional, compassionate, listens well, shares planning and is nearly painless! Always studying and adding new skills, and yet stays reasonable in cost!
