Dr. Luke ByrdDr. Luke Byrd was born in Tennessee but didnt stay there long. Due to my father being a Pastor I spent my childhood in several different locations; Tennessee, Pennsylvania and the Island of Saipan, but I spent half of my childhood in Yakima, WA. I graduated in 2013 from dental school at Loma Linda University and briefly worked in the Nashville area before life worked out to be able to come back to the PNW. North Idaho has always been a favorite place for my wife and me. My wife and I have been together since our senior year of high school. We have three children; one daughter followed by two sons. Our family fully enjoys what all four seasons have to offer! We enjoy spending time at the lakes, camping, boating, and hiking during the summer! We also love the snow and spend time snowboarding, sledding, and sometimes just being at home with our 5 dogs! I love the Silver Valley and the people in it. I feel very lucky to do something that I love with an amazing staff! I hope our staff makes you feel at home every time you are here.
I have gone to several places before here and left in pain and discomfort.... I can tell you that when you come here to Silver Valley Dental care you are getting the best of the best. From the moment i walked in to when I left. They listen they care and they are amazing. I am usually nervous and scared of the Dentist but her it felt like family and i was not 1 bit uncomfortable or nervous. Thank you guys your awesome.......
Went to have a tooth extracted. The nurses/assistants were great and the doctor was amazing. The procedure was really quick, didn't feel a thing and went home pretty comfortable. Going back for another extraction and a root canal next month.

I'm here from out of state visiting family and unfortunately had a dental emergency... my daughter called an they gave me an appt the next day.. I was in and out very quickly, everyone was so friendly, it was very clean... had an X-ray to confirm and they called in a prescription of an antibiotic and out I went... I can now enjoy the last two weeks of my visit with my grand babies

Unfortunately this dental practice does not pay its vendors, even when in a binding contractual obligation. Beware!

Went to have a tooth extracted. The nurses/assistants were great and the doctor was amazing. The procedure was really quick, didn't feel a thing and went home pretty comfortable. Going back for another extraction and a root canal next month.

Called Monday morning in severe pain and they cant get me in tell Friday. Guess they dont care about their patients.

First things is I have never had to wait. They have always been on time. Very easy atmosphere. Every one is very nice and courteous. I don't have a very much insurance coverage a year and they work on what my priorities are as far a getting what fixed first. And don't try to sell me thousands of dollars for a dental plan I can't afford. The Doc is great there and very personable and easy to talk to. And last but not least I have not walked out of there in an pain, but I have walked in there with it. The only thing I thing they could work on is getting you in quicker when you are in real pain, like from an abscess tooth . Would recommend them all day long great place to go.
