Dr. Hung Pham completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Utah and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to pursue a postgraduate degree and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2018. He also completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) program in dental medicine at the University of Utah Hospital in 2019. This advanced training has broadened his ability to care for a diverse patient population.
Dr. Pham's patient care philosophy is to deliver exceptional and effective dental care and treatments while also making the patient experience as stress-free as possible. For Dr. Pham, nothing is more important than giving you a beautiful smile that you can appreciate and be proud to show off!
Silver Summit Dental was founded by Doug Laney after years of consulting with other dental practices to help them improve their operations. Due to this, Doug decided to open Silver Summit Dental in Herriman. His philosophy is that a partnership between the doctor and practice management delivers superior dental care and an overall pleasant experience. The experience and skills Doug has gives him a unique perspective into what it takes to build a patient-focused dental practice. Doug understands that the needs of the patients must always come first and continually works to ensure that Silver Summit Dental offers the highest quality care, at the most affordable rates.
Joey has been managing dental offices for over 26 years. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know her patients and ensuring they have an exceptional experience every time they visit. Those who know Joey will tell you that she is the happiest and most helpful office manager they've ever met. Everybody just loves Joey! She enjoys spending time with her kids and new grandbaby. Originally from West Virginia, and a Mountaineer at heart, she loves the small-town feeling that Herriman provides.
Kenalee was born and raised in Utah. She received her dental hygiene education and degree from Fortis College in 2013, and has been practicing dental hygiene ever since. She enjoys educating her patients on their oral health and believes that a healthy mouth leads to an overall better health. Kenalee loves getting to know her patients and building long term friendships with them. In her free time she enjoys reading, rock climbing and spending time with her husband Alex and their daughter.

After shopping around for dentists this past year we finally found ShagriLai. An honest, fair, polite group of receptionist, hygienist and dentist can not be found easily. This place was great!!!!

Wow! Never have I had a more accommodating and successful experience than what I experienced with Dr Pham and Silver Summit Dental. This was my second surgical procedure here and I went in very nervous for my procedure. They were so caring, calming, and knowledgeable about what I was having done, compassionate during the appointment and even with follow up calls afterwards to make sure I was doing alright. I feel relieved to be in good hands for the rest of the dental work I need to have done and for future dental care for my family as well!

Both my husband and I moved here and had a hard time finding a dentist we liked. Silver Summit Dental was close to my child's preschool so I decided to set up some appointments. We have had a really good experience so far, staff is super friendly and accommodating which I love, my husband who is very picky, is happy with his dental work and treatment plan as well. Will definitely recommend to others.

I switched to this dentist because my previous one was making my teeth worse not better. So while I was in the chair this was easily the best dental experience I ever had. Unlike any dentist I've had previously, it was obvious the hygienist and his assistants worked with quality and care. They were fun and friendly, and I always felt like I knew what was going on and what my options were. I wish I could say the same thing about my experience with payment. If this place we're to hire a new receptionist I would seriously consider giving a 5-star review. However Joey, has been a source of constant frustration to me. She was on the phone talking to tech support in my room while the assistants were trying to x-ray my teeth. Then instead of talking me through payment process herself she simply sends me a clipboard to sign, luckily I'm smart enough to read fine print but this wasn't enough to save me the pain to come. When the procedure was over I realized I left my wallet at home. I told Joey I could run home and get it, but she just reminded me that I had "signed the paperwork" and gave me a state that made me feel as trapped as if she had gotten up and blocked the door. So I had no choice but to send an embarrassing phone call to my father to read off his credit card info. while she watched me. Back to the payment itself, I read the fine print. I knew how much insurance was going to cover and how much I was expected to pay. But a month later, Joey sends me a text, saying that I have a negative balance on my account... 40-something dollars more than what I already payed. Her excuse was that insurance wouldn't cover the remaining balance but has been tight-lipped about the details, which is a very different story than the paperwork I signed. I told her since it wasn't my money or my insurance I have very little control over the situation and I'll get back to her as soon as I can consult my parents, Her response ignored everything I just said and just repeated her previous claims. The back and forth we've had in dayssince has been riddled with a highly unprofessional and impatient tone. Probably update when I finally get the situation resolved

Let me start by saying that it has been 20+ years since I've seen a dentist. I waited so long that it got to a point that I became embarrassed. I ended up having some pain that I had to deal with. These people made me feel so welcome and made me feel like they truly wanted to help me get my teeth back into "shape". So far, I am super happy with how they treat me as a patient and also a person. A+

Best experience I've had in years! Had me in and out quickly. My appointment started right on time. They also made me feel like a million bucks. I actually left feeling good about myself! Lol I don't know why but in the past I've feel completely ripped on...all the million things I'm going wrong and how I'm this horrible person for not flossing. So nice to finally be treated kindly...with respect and like an adult...not a little child
