Caytlyn Foy Bonura, DDS, was born and raised in Silver City, New Mexico. She attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After four cold winters, she moved south to Dallas and attended Baylor College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. After completing dental school, Dr. Bonura furthered her education and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of New Mexico. Here she learned to perform advanced dental procedures, including implant placement and restoration, hospital dentistry (including sedation dentistry), and pediatric dentistry techniques.
Dr. Bonura is committed to the highest quality patient care. She strives to stay up-to-date on the latest dental advances to ensure patients have a comfortable experience and receive excellent care. Dr. Bonura is currently a member of the American Dental Association and New Mexico Dental Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bonura enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her husband, Shelby, and their dog, Maynard. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching sports, especially college football.
In high school, dentistry became her focus. Dr. Gorthy opened his practice to her and allowed her to work as a chairside assistant during summer breaks so she could see what being a dentist entailed. She loved it! She continued working there over breaks for the next few years.
Adreanna joined our team in 2016 and plans to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. She is CPR certified and has a license in dental radiology. Adreanna loves her job and the people she works with. It never feels like work to her. She enjoys that her patients make her feel appreciated for everything she does for them. She loves spending time with her son, traveling, and being spontaneous.
Jolene joined our team in 2000 and graduated high school in 1989. She is certified in dental radiology, CPR, and first aid. Jolene is also a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, and is an FFA Alumni. Jolene loves her job, and her co-workers are like a second family. She enjoys the fact that every day is different and no two people or mouths are the same. Outside of the office, she loves hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Angela joined the team in 2018 and has a certification in radiology. She loves her coworkers and the friendly work environment. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and her family.
Susan attended the University of New Mexico School of Dental Medicine, earning her Bachelor of Science in 2016. She joined our team in 2017. Shes earned her certifications in phlebotomy, elderly care, education and oral systemic links. She is a member of the ADHA and the National Society of Leadership and Success. Susan has volunteered with Mission of Mercy, Healthcare for the Homeless, and Small Smiles. At the office, she enjoys helping people improve their health and their smile. She loves meeting interesting people and learning from them when they come to the office. Her hobbies include books, outdoor adventure, and candle and soap making.
Sara obtained her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1988 and her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1989. Shes earned special certifications in xerostomia and drug interactions. She is a member of AARP, the Moose Lodge, and fish and wildlife groups. She loves the pace and the people she encounters in her work. She finds seeing the results when her patients oral health improves very rewarding. She lives for friendship with her patients. Her hobbies include landscaping, furniture refinishing, sewing, cooking, and reading.
