Dr. Silverina Chua spends quality time to examine a patient comprehensively and explain her diagnosis and treatment planning process. We believe that optimum dental health once achieved can be maintained through proper patient education, compliance, and prevention. We educate our patients continuously utilizing American Dental Association (ADA)-Approved brochures and videos. Dr. Silverina Chua frequently reviews patient medical histories, medications and clinical condition to help her be informed of your overall health status.
We strictly observe and maintain sterilization and infection control measures using standards recommended by State and Federal Organizations such as American Dental Association (ADA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Dr Silverina Chua completed her degree of Bachelor of Science in Dentistry at Centro Escolar University in 2000. With great determination and hard work, She successfully obtained her California license to practice as Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2007. She practiced as an Associate Dentist in several dental offices in Southern California with various concentrations on General, Pediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontics.
After a total of 16 years of experience in Dentistry, Dr. Silverina Chua had developed to be a talented and highly skilled General, Orthodontic and Cosmetic Dentist. She had completed Continuing Education at the University of California Los Angeles and Rondeau Seminars. She continues to broaden her knowledge and skills with advance trainings and unrelentless studies. Dr. Chua is a proud member of American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), International Association for Orthodontics (IAO), and Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
When Dr. Chua is not in her office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, traveling and cooking. Besides English, shes also fluent in Mandarin and Tagalog. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your most confidently, beautiful smile!

Easy Maintenance You can easily practice good oral hygiene while using Invisalign. You just remove the trays before eating then brush and floss before replacing them. Other than daily cleaning of your trays, there is no additional maintenance required.
It is a simple process to get Invisalign. During the initial visit at Silver Smile Dental, Dr. Chua will take 3D images of your jaw and dentition while making a special digital impression of your teeth. These digital impressions will be used to plan your treatment, determine the required length of the treatment plan, which can vary from 20 to 29 sets of trays per arch.
After the creation of your trays, you will return to Silver Smile Dental for a final fitting to make sure your trays fit like they should. You will be educated in regards to your treatment plan so you can take care of your aligners and properly clean them. After you receive your trays and have been educated, you can go home or to work.

I always have a great experience at Silver Smile Dental. Dr. Chua and her team are so welcoming and kind. Her work is very meticulous. I never have issues with pain or discomfort. She always makes sure to ask if I'm comfortable or if I'm ok. Great office!

I've had my teeth taken care of by Silver Smile Dental since 2017 while I was looking for a trustworthy Dental without overtreatment. Dr. Silverina Chua and her team are honest, professional, detailed, warm, and friendly. The environment is super clean--- I thought it was new, however, five years passed, it is still very clean. I would recommend Silver Smile Dental to all the people who are looking for or considering changing a dental.

Everyone at Silver Smile Dental is very warm and friendly. The office is very clean, with state-of-the-art equipment. Dr. Silverina Chua is very detailed in explaining my oral health condition & treatment recommendations. Mariel, is likewise thorough in explaining what my dental insurance covers and my share-of-cost. Itzel, the dental hygienist, is superb! I've always had problems with my gums and had repeated deep cleaning treatments done at other dental offices. With Itzel doing my deep cleaning, I've not experienced any discomfort at all! She has very gentle hands. I was amazed with my "before and after" treatment pictures! I definitely recommend Silver Smile Dental!

If my husband and I can give more than 5 stars, we'd drop 100 stars for Silver Smile Dental! Dr. Silver, Jojette and staff are very professional, friendly, courteous and kind. Equipment is state of the art - you should see the x-ray machine ! We haven't been to the dental office in 10 months this year because of the pandemic and being there today, we were made to feel like family. Dr. Silver and staff made sure that our visit was safe by solely dedicating the office to my husband and me. They strictly adhere to CDC guidelines by maintaining a VERY clean office (even before the pandemic), PROPER air circulation/filtration and donning appropriate PPE. We are so happy to have found Silver Smile Dental in 2018. If you are looking for a dentist - Dr Silver Chua comes very highly recommended!

Very horrible experience! The dentist was so rude. The assistant told me wait outside, when the doctor was at the treatment room with my kid, she yelled at my kid, said if you didn't open your mouth widely, you got out from here. I can't believed it! Also if she tell you that you have cavity, make sure to ask second opinion! Never go back again!

We did not hesitate to have our appointments along with our elderly Mom & the rest of our family to the clinic multiple times during the pandemic lockdown in March - December 2020 for a series of dental work ups, because we are confident that Dr Smile & her staff are highly vigilant in observing their health & safety protocols.

Grateful Jojette & Dr. Silverina Chua I came to their modern dental office thinking I needed a basic cleaning and filling for my tooth. Boy, was I wrong. Dr. Found that I had a fractured tooth and other issues like teeth grinding and such. Dr. Was very thorough with the findings and explained the problems with camera shots on her screen. She said we need to pull out the tooth because it was fractured and it was causing an infection. We proceeded with what needed to be done. In the past... (from other dentist) I've been very afraid of teeth pulling and shots. But doctor made me feel calm. Simple pinch feeling, a little pressure, and the procedure was done. Wow. One of the best experiences I've had in a dental office. Always made me feel comfortable. Making sure I was OK. Every staff member was friendly. If you're in the chino hills area or nearby, give these ladies a shot! All equipment are high tech with a great ambiance. Thanks Dr. & Jojette for helping me. 100% recommended. Jay

Very friendly staff, clean environment, and great care provided by Dr. Silver. I was grateful when the Dr. added Vaseline to my dry lips throughout the treatment (dry today likely due to summer heat). I also enjoyed the technology here. The Dr. showed me x-rays and pictures she took of my teeth, going over everything with me. After my cleaning, I was even provided with a wonderful lavender smelling, heated cloth fresh out of a new package to wipe my face with. I am very happy about my visit and look forward to returning in 6 months!

I was asked to do a survey during my first visit but I was thinking that it was too premature to give them a good review for my first visit.Today, 3/10/2021, is my 2nd visit and for the first time, after a dental procedure, I said it loudly, "WOW!" Dr. Chua is, by far, the best dentist I have encountered since I migrated here in the US. Also, Jojette, has been very clear about financial responsibilities; explaining what is covered by insurance and what is my expected co-pay. You will be in good hands if you visit Silver Smile Dental. I will not hesitate to endorse them.

I was looking for personalized dental service and expecting my dentist to think of me as a person. I think Dr Silver is the type of dentist I have been looking for. Dr. Silver, Jojette and her team are very professional, friendly, courteous and caring. I am a complicated patient but Dr. Silver is very patient to me. I'm an Asian and some dental words I'm not familiar with made me confused. She explained all my questions very patiently, this made me totally understand what kind of treatment was needed. Her office is also equipped with modern technology such as x-ray machines that instantly transmit the digital files onto a large TV screen in the room so that no detail is missed during examination.
