Our Chicago area dentists have provided care from this location for over 10 years. Our team includes highly experienced dental professionals, led by Dr. Joellen Schneider. Our technical team includes a certified dental hygienist, and a personable support staff to assist you in all of your dental needs.

Dr. Joellen Schneider graduated the University of Illinois in 2005 with the degree, Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Schneiders experience, continued education, and fluency in both English and Spanish has earned the trust of her patients over the past 13 years in her ever expanding practice.
As a mother of two young boys, Dr. Schneider knows the importance of your childs comfort, and the need for teaching children and adults alike about any necessary dental procedures and the importance of at home oral health care.
When Dr. Schneider is not in her office you will often find her cheering on her children at the baseball fields and gymnastic center or at CFD Pipes and Drums practice with her husband Dan, a longtime member of the Chicago Fire Department.
With over 5 years experience Katrina joined the Silver Lake Dental team during the summer of 2017. As a mother of two young girls, Katrina uses her dental knowledge and sense of humor to make our patients feel comfortable. She takes the time to explain in simple terms any procedure that Dr. Schneider recommends. Katrina takes pride in making your experience at the dental office comfortable so that you can leave feeling good and with a better understanding of your specific oral health care needs.
As a part of Silver Lake Dental for over two years, Jill can navigate all of your scheduling and billing needs. As a mother of 4 growing boys Jill is accustomed to juggling ever-changing schedules and needs. Jill is the glue that keeps Silver Lake Dental running right on time even when a patient emergency arrises. Because of her specific talents, she is able to keep you from long waiting room times. Jills knowledge of insurance companies and billing allows you to fully understand the cost and coverage of any procedure Dr. Schneider recommends.
Silver Lake Dental has the privilege of having two Registered Dental Hygienists fluent in both English and Spanish as a part our team. Jasmine, a graduate of City Colleges of Chicago, and Mari Cruz, a graduate of Fox College, are not only talented and knowledgeable, but are passionate about your oral health.
Having two hygienists allows us to ensure you are able to stay on track with your 3, 4, or 6 month regular cleanings. Both Mari Cruz and Jasmine will comfortably explain any treatment required to maintain your oral health in office and take time to educate you about proper at home oral health care.
