Founded in 1978, Silver Lake Dental Arts has served the Everett, Washington area for over 30 years. Throughout our history, our main goal has remained the same: to deliver quality, value and, most of all, service.

Our staff is trained to provide you with the most informative and up to date treatment options. The front office staff consists of three individuals; each having decades of experience. They are able to help you with any scheduling, billing, or insurance questions. Our six registered assistants are equipped with the knowledge to provide the finest most comfortable care. We have four hygienists licensed by the State of Washington prepared to assist you with your preventative needs.

Our office has eight operatories; each of which are outfitted with the most current state of the art equipment. This allows us to serve you efficiently and thoroughly. Making sure that your every dental concern is taken care of in a timely fashion.

Dr. Clio Samia is a Portland native who learned about passion and dedication through competitive gymnastics. At a young age she realized her love of science and human health would lead her to a career in the medical field. From Portland, she moved to Vancouver B.C. and received her Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia, double majoring in Food Science and Nutritional Science. Continuing her West Coast tour, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She then pursued post graduate education in Seattle, completing a General Practice Residency at the University of Washington and loved the area so much she decided to make it her permanent home.

Dr. Samia is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to continue to provide her patients with the best dental experience available. She strives to support her local community through volunteering with the Medical Relief International mobile dental clinic, and has served on the executive committee for the Snohomish County Dental Society since 2017.

When she's not in the office, Dr. Samia likes to travel and see the world. Some of her favorite trips have been to Costa Rica, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Fiji, and Switzerland. Around Washington, her happy place is the mountains, and she loves to get outside to hike, paddle board, and ski. When she is sitting still you may find her and her boyfriend obsessing over their cat, Lucy, and dog, Felixxx, or cheering on the Vancouver Canucks and Everett Silvertips. Dr. Samia is already excited to support the Seattle Kraken in their debut season except when they play the Canucks, of course.

Dr Christopher Fanger joined Silver Lake Dental Arts in September, 2020. Dr. Fanger is a man from many places. He was born in New Mexico, moved to Massachusetts when he was very young, then to Arizona for his formative years where he graduated from high school in Phoenix. He attended undergrad in Tucson, and is a proud Wildcat, Bear Down! Then, he made the move to Portland, OR where he attended dental school at the prestigious Oregon Health and Science University and then fell in love with the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Afterward, he completed a one year, rigorous Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Boise, ID where he studied and completed more advanced dentalprocedures. He then practiced in San Diego, CA for two years before moving back to the PNW to live in the region in which he feels most at home.

Dr. Fanger is a great fit at SLDA as hesubscribes to the dental philosophy of patient-centric where he puts theindividualneeds of each patient first. He likes to treat every patient as if they were his familyand hasfound a strong passion in top-quality dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, andSnohomish County Dental Society. Heis passionate about lifelong learning as a commitment to his patients and is working oncompletinghisFellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry,a distinction that only 6% of general dentists achieve.

In his free time Dr. Fanger enjoys spending his time with his beautiful girlfriend Elaine and dog Beau, snowboarding, backpacking, hiking, cooking, running, and enjoying what the Puget Sound has to offer.

Dr. Kellogg was born and raised in northern Seattle. He attended Nathan Hale High School and obtained his undergraduate degree in Zoology from the University of Washington in 1974. Growing up, Dr. Kellogg always had a great relationship with his own dentist, who encouraged him to continue to dental school. He graduated from the University of Washington's School of Dentistry in 1978, co-founded Silver Lake Dental Arts, and has enjoyed every single day.

He enjoys the use of technology and computers in dentistry and working with operating systems. He takes many continuing education courses each year, so he can continue to provide his patients with the most comprehensive dental care available.

Dr. Kellogg is also an avid reader and is interested in geopolitics, military history, aviation, and unlimited hydroplanes. As a former long-distance runner, he understands endurance and patience, which have served him in life and his practice in dentistry. These qualities have shaped Dr. Kellogg's continuing commitment to lasting, long-term relationships with his patients and team. Dr. Kellogg has been married for over 30 years to his wife, Denise. They have two children, Rick and Leigh, and welcomed their first grandchild in 2019. Though Dr. Kellogg retired from daily practice in September, 2020, the legacy of treating patients and staff like family remains, and he can still be spotted around the office from time to time.

Paula has worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Kellogg for 19 years and now works as the front desk receptionist and treatment plan coordinator. She is married to her husband Ted and together they have three kids; Thomas, Kurtis, and Katie. She is a Leo and would describe herself as loyal, charitable, and majestic.

One of her favorite aspects of working for Silver Lake Dental Arts is having long-term relationships with patients. Shes witnessed several patients start out as young adults and then come back with their own children.

Stephanie has been with our office for over a decade years as an employee, but shes been a part of the Silver Lake Dental Arts family since she was 5 years old and a patient. She prides herself on her ability to make her patients cleanings as painless and enjoyable as possible. She knows shes done her job well when patients request to see her again. When shes not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids Kaleb is 4 and Aubrey is 2 years old. They all love to camp, travel, and especially scuba dive.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Debbie developed an interest in her profession after working in a dental office in high school. She has now worked with Dr. Kellogg and Samia since 1990, and continues to provide her patients with high quality, personal, and gentle care. She love to hear patients say that her work has really helped them. Her favorite indulgence is Hawaii, and she loves spending time with her dogs, friends, and husband.

Janaia is a Washington native and true Washingtonian. She has worked in dentistry for over 14 years first as a dental assistant before completing her studies to become a hygienist 2009. She has been a patient of Silver Lake Dental Arts since she was 5 years old, and her experience as a patient inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry. She is so happy to be working with people with whom she has such fond memories.

Janaia and her husband Jesse and kids, Kade and Corinne, enjoy spending time on Whidbey Island. She also loves keeping up with the kids' sports and activities including ballet, soccer, swimming, football and especially wrestling.

Theresa has been a dental hygienist in our office since 2015. She is a Washington native and has lived most of her life in Snohomish County. She grew up in a dental family and has been working in dental offices since she was 16. When shes not at the office shes spending time with her husband, two kids, and dog. They love to be outdoors together, ski in the winter, and go for bike rides in the summer. Theresa also loves to read, garden, and root for her favorite teams the Seahawks and the Mariners.

Tonya has worked for Silver Lake since 2003. She most enjoys the appreciation that patients express for the work she has done to improve their smile or ease their discomfort. Her favorite sweet indulgence is chocolate, she loves a good joke or funny movie, and she enjoys spending time with good friends and family.

Katie was born and raised in Washington. She was influenced by her wife to achieve her goal of becoming a Dental Assistant. Katie studied at Everest College and fit so well in the office she was hired as soon as she graduated. Before her training Katie was no stranger to our practice Dr. Kellogg has been her dentist since the age of 3! It is important for Katie to show her patients the same comfort and care that she experienced as a patient. Katie enjoys spending time with her family and being an aunt to her several nieces and nephews. She cant wait to have children of her own someday.
