Silver Falls Family Dental Care is currently accepting new patients and referrals. In addition, we always do our very best to accommodate all emergencies as quickly as possible usually the same day. We provide a comprehensive range of preventive, cosmetic, and restorative dental care services and treatments for patients of all ages. We accept nearly all forms of dental insurance, and are preferred providers for many carriers including ODS-Moda, Delta Dental, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Ameritas, Met-Life, and Cigna.

Kendall Pyper was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho earning an Associate Degree, then moved on to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Instrumental Music Education, graduating in April of 2000. Although he enjoyed teaching bands and choirs in Oregon public schools, state budget cuts in 2003 caused him to lose his job and forced him to recognize the instability of his profession. Deciding to seek a more stable career to better provide for his family, and through the influence of some close friends, Kendall decided to research the dental profession.

The more he learned about dentistry, the more he was fascinated with it. After spending a year and a half in night school completing prerequisite courses at Portland Community College, he was accepted to the prestigious University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, in San Francisco, California. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in June 2008 and has worked in Oregon as a dentist ever since. He loves his chosen profession and loves helping people have healthy and beautiful smiles.

As a dentist, Dr. Pyper believes first and foremost that every patient is entitled to a comfortable experience in the dental office and the highest quality dental care available. He is committed to staying up to date with the latest advances in dentistry, implementing the newest techniques, materials, and technology as they are proven effective in clinical evidence-based studies. His patients also appreciate his gentle touch and genuine concern.

Kendall and his wife, Lainie, have five children. They enjoy their family immensely, spending as much time together as possible. As residents of Silverton, they also enjoy engaging in community events. The Pypers are active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they love participating in its various activities. Dr. Pyper also enjoys playing and listening to good music, spending time in the great outdoors, watching and playing sports, and tinkering with computers.

Alyssia is a graduate of the Mt. Hood Community College School of Dental Hygiene. Born and raised in Silverton, she enjoys her career as a hygienist in her hometown. She currently resides in Woodburn with her husband, Jimmy, and children Jameson, Natalie, and Kaliyah. They enjoy family time, camping and being outdoors, especially in Hawaii!

Kendra graduated from the Oregon Institute of Technology in 2012 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She was born and raised in the Mt. Angel/Silverton area and loves connecting with the people in our community through her work and volunteering. Kendra has the ability to make anyone comfortable in the dental chair and her patients can see the love she has for her profession shining through. Kendra enjoys traveling abroad and has served mission trips in both Cambodia and Honduras. Kendra enjoys spending time with her husband Tyler and their growing family. She loves hiking with Tyler and their dog. She also enjoys crafting and has learned the art of weaving with her grandmother.

Christie has been a board Certified Dental Assistant with expanded functions for over 30 years. She loves helping people feel comfortable while achieving their dental goals. Christie lives on a farm with her husband Dennis, who is a career farmer. Christie loves animals and enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and gardening.

Patty was born and raised in Mt. Angel, OR and now lives in the Scotts Mills area. She has been in the dental field for over 25 years. Before working the front desk, Patty was a dental assistant for many years. When not at work, Patty enjoys time with her twin boys, Briar and Brody, and her husband, Jason. She also enjoys gardening, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends!

Lori is a graduate of Chemeketa Community College and has been working in the dental/medical field for over 20 years. She has two grown children, and three grandchildren. Lori loves spending time with family and friends, exploring the great outdoors, traveling to fun and exciting places, and volunteering her time in the Silverton community.
