Dr. Tyson Gundersen graduated fromOregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. During his studies, Dr. Gundersen was selected to participate in honors endodontics and honors orthodontics and clinical hypnosis courses. Outside of his coursework, he spent much of his time engaged in community outreach programs such as Celebration of Smiles, Give Kids a Smile and Medical Teams International, where he provided complimentary dental services to underserved children and adults in the Portland, Oregon, area.
Dr. Gundersen has an instilled commitment to continuing education, as well as a commitment to understanding and building his knowledge on cutting-edge dental technology. He enjoys working with patients to understand and respond to their specific needs and feels that there is nothing more important than providing the highest quality of individualized care.
Born and raised in southeast Idaho, Dr. Gundersen established a great love of the outdoors. He strongly believes in the principles taught by the Boy Scouts of America and has served as assistant leader and leader for the youth-based organization and even earned the highest honor of an Eagle Scout Award. When he is not at work, Dr. Gundersen enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, hunting and spending quality time with his wife, Brendie, and five kids: Hank, Luke, Jack, Jane and Rhett.
Joining us in 2019, Kristie grew up in Bozeman and moved to Butte in 2016. She loves the fun and friendly atmosphere at our practice. In her free time, Kristie loves spending time with her husband, Travis, and her son, Odin. She also loves football, rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs and the MSU Bobcats.
Raney attended Great Falls College and Montana State University, graduating in 2019. She joined our team in 2021 and enjoys the great team dynamic of our office. She appreciates the laid-back atmosphere of our practice, which makes it easy to enjoy her time in the office. Raney works to assist in any way possible and strives to be a valued member of our team.
Raney has a dog named Beau, and when not in the office, she enjoys being active. She can often be found outdoors, hunting or paddling around in her kayak. When not outdoors, Raney likes to read and write, work on projects, and catch up on her favorite TV shows.
Joining our practice in 2015, Amanda has been a dental assistant for over 10 years. She loves to see our patients happy and to meet new people. She was born and raised in Butte, Montana. Amanda is married, with a little boy and enjoys quality time with her family. Together, they enjoy camping and enjoying the fresh air.

Absolutely the kindness staff I've ever experienced in a dental/medical office. Dr is very knowledgeable with lots of options and very gentle. I have always been afraid of the dentist...but not at Silvercreek!

Like others have shared, I was told that I would have to pay $170 out of pocket for additional cleaning, which I paid. Then, they called a few weeks later to let me know that I owe $190 more because she admitted that it was their fault, she didn't look closely, and they did the cleaning 9 days too early, so it would not be covered with my insurance. They cut it to $97, but I should not have to pay anymore for a mistake that they admitted! Extremely disappointing.

I'm always impressed how thorough silver creek family dentistry is! I've been for two cleanings and the dental hygienist I have seen has been the sweetest! She is also very knowledgeable and lets me know how my dental hygiene is going! My teeth feel amazing after the cleaning as well! I also feel the dentist doesn't just drill you tooth to make money. If a tooth looks questionable he will keep a close eye out for it the next visit. I love the texting process of reminding you about your upcoming appointment- life's to busy to remember each appointment. I received a call a couple days before my appointment then a text a day before my appointment and following that a text on my appointment day with the time! It's sure that helps you not no show your appointments! The ladies in the front are helpful and always kind! If you're in need of a new dentist- look no further!

Ok, so during Covid my daughter missed a few appointments because she wasn't feeling well. Unfortunately we didn't always have 24 hours to notify them because symptoms came on suddenly. We tried to be very cautious and conservative about this, as one of my children has some immune issues. They ended up BANNING her from the office for good. The woman literally told me we should have brought her in sick- way to slow the spread. I double checked to see if it was her or the entire family that was 'banned' and was told it was just my daughter, as the rest of us had maintained our appointments (funny how that works, we weren't sick, so we went). Just called to make a routine appointment for myself and suddenly the whole family is banned. Long story short, don't make this your regular dentist. God forbid you catch a cold and stay home- or God forbid someone else catch a cold and actually go in sick, get worked on, and then they pass the cold on to you.

They were recommended by a work colleague and I'm very happy I followed through. The folks are pleasant and competent. Before I knew it the cleaning was complete. Altogether, a great experience. I recently had a problem and immediately got an appointment for a consultation. The problem was resolved. I am quite happy with the service. Very competent and friendly people. Had to have restorative work on a tooth, and it went very smoothly. Badabing, badabang, badaboom! Done! Thanks, folks! Every visit is a positive experience.

I paid up front what they said my insurance wouldn't cover. Then after the appointment they bill me for more. I hadn't been to the dentist in years and now I have to go back.....to someone else of course....as I'm in more pain than I was before.
