I am glad to be able to help someone who is fearful have a positive experience. I am happy to offer sedation to calm the fears of patients so they feel peaceful coming to see me. I love that I am able to provide implants to patients and make it possible for them to eat comfortably and be confident and happy with their smile. I am pleased to make crowns and bridges, on the same day, so patients can leave the office with the procedure finished.

Justin Porter was born and raised in the nearby community of Safford, Arizona. After high school, he served a two-year mission in Chile for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he became fluent in Spanish and strengthened his love of service to others.

When Justin returned from his service, he enrolled at Eastern Arizona College. He married his high-school sweetheart, Kristi, and they started their family. After finishing his associates degree, Justin attended the University of Arizona, where he majored in biochemistry. It was during his undergraduate studies that Justins journey to becoming a dentist began.

Following graduation in 2000, Justin was accepted toMarquette University School of Dentistry. He packed up his sweet wife, their two rambunctious young boys Jace and Chance and moved across the country to Wisconsin.

Dental school at Marquette University was quite an adventure.During his third year, he and Kristi welcomed their daughter, Maci, to their family!In 2004, Dr Portergraduaded with aDoctorof Dental Surgery.

The Southwest is dear to Dr. Porter and Kristi, so they loaded uptheir family and headed back to where their hearts were. They settled in Silver City. In 2005,Dr. Porterpurchased the dental office from a wonderful dentist,Dr. Anton Anderson. Right after completing the purchase, Dr. Porter and Kristi completed their family with thearrival of their son, Lane. Their family completeand the dental office purchased that is when Silver City Dental began.

Through these organizations, Dr. Porter has access to the latest research and newest developments in dentistry. He avidly seeks out continuing educational opportunities in order to stay current on innovative dental procedures. For his patients, this means up-to-date and high-tech dentistry, provided close to home by a doctor and team who are part of the community.

The best part of my job? The person in the chair! Providing a positive and sometimes even fun dental experience is incredibly rewarding! I offer patient education, and preventive and maintenance care; and I assess, document, and plan treatment to address oral disease.

Outside the office, my husband and two children keep me busy. I find a lot of joy being with my family and love supporting our childrens extracurricular activities. I also like serving on two community boards, as well as working out, hiking, and running trails.

I like interacting with our patients, while also playing a part in helping each feel confident in their smile! I assist Dr. Porter with dental procedures, make sure our patient is comfortable during their care, and take X-rays. I also prepare rooms for procedures and sterilize instruments.

Beyond work, I love to run, hike, and hunt, as well as spend time with my friends and family. My husbands name is Brian. I have two grown children, Deandra and Ethan, and two sweet grandkids, Emery and Elikai, too.

I love being able to help patients understand why we do what we do for them, clinically. I want people to be healthy, and many people dont realize that oral health has many effects on overall health. Educating patients is important! I submit claims in an orderly fashion, input all insurance payments, and handle accounting questions and details.

I am a boy mom, so I know all about broken bones and yucky bugs, though Im still learning about sports! I have two boys: the oldest is nearly an adult and the youngest is still in elementary school. My husband is a wildland firefighter for the Tonto National Forest in Mesa. When its not fire season, we love to travel, hike, and enjoy lake days. We have two dogs who are also boys so I always have my hands full, but I try and keep a pretty good sense of humor about it all!

I love providing exceptional care and educating patients on the importance of oral health. It is very rewarding to see patients leaving with a smile! I offer intraoral and extraoral health assessment, expose dental X-rays, and remove plaque/calculus build up. I also apply preventive dental materials, such as fluoride and sealants, and ensure my patient is comfortable in the chair.

Dr. Porter is the most experience dentist I know. I love working for him because it is a very enriching experience. This leads to a feedback culture where the entire Silver City Dental team grows with each other so we can best help our patients!

Raised in Silver City, it has always been my dream to return and serve the community that raised me. Now I am a proud wife and mother and living my dream. When out of the office, I enjoy hiking, hunting, riding horses, helping on the ranch, and playing board games with family.

I am involved with all aspects of patient care, assisting the doctor, and helping in the front and back office. Fully licensed in New Mexico, I have more than 20 years of experience in dentistry, the past seven of those years here at Silver City Dental. I enjoy interacting with our patients and helping them to understand how their whole mouth health affects their whole body health. My goal is to make sure our patients can smile again and feel happy about having their smile back. Its a wonderful thing to be a part of!

Ive been a cheerleader for most of my life. I performed for Cheer Athletics Wildcats (one of my dream teams!) and I auditioned for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in 2017: I made it into our very first game, then decided I wanted to go to school in Albuquerque. Im obsessed with going to the gym and enjoying the company of my two cats, dog, and turtle.

I enjoy working with Dr. Porter because he is my favorite. I may be partial because I am married to him, but I think he is pretty great! We have a wonderful team at Silver City Dental. Everyone does their part to make it a happy place to be. I enjoy each member of our team; we are very blessed!

Dr. Porter and I have been married over 25 years. We have three sons, a daughter, and a growing family: two of our sons have married amazing women who have become sisters to our daughter. And we have recently become grandparents. Oh, what a joy! My favorite thing in the world is spending time as a family. I also enjoy quilting, hiking, and have a newfound love of pickleball.

I appreciate the opportunity to educate patients about their dental situation, help them with their oral health needs, and teach them how to care for their teeth and gingiva. Oral hygiene is closely connected to overall health, so by providing cleanings, preventive, and maintenance care. I try to help people enjoy healthier and happier lives.

Born in China, I moved to the US in 2012. I have a daughter; her name is Lily. When Im not working, we spend a lot of time together. I enjoy going to the movies and listening to music, which can really help me relax.

My favorite part of being a hygienist is helping patients understand their dental needs and treatment to keep their teeth and mouth healthy. I really like making patients feel comfortable and well cared for in the dental setting. I offer preventive and maintenance care for oral health, as well as education to help patients learn how to care for their smiles health.

I enjoy helping our patients have positive dental experiences, so they feel good about taking care of their oral health. I set up rooms for procedures, handle sterilization, work side-by-side with Dr. Porter during procedures, and do lab work.

I was born and raised here in Silver City. I come from a big family, with five brothers, two sisters, and lots of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Im not hard to please: Im pretty easygoing and always try to be positive. I also believe family is the most important thing in life.
