Recently, my husband was having significant pain in a tooth so we decided to drive to our dentist. When Marcia, the front desk receptionist, took one look at my husband, she immediately informed Dr. Silva of the situation. Within 60 minutes, Dr. Silva diagnosed the problem, started him on antibiotics, and referred us to an endodontist who my husband was able to see the following day. Marcia's insight and empathic nature saved the day and Dr. Silva's expertise saved the tooth. The entire team at Silva Family Dentistry are remarkable, but we want to give credit to these two wonderful people for such a quick response to a painful situation. After my semi annual checkup on 3/21/2022 (which went well), I had an unplanned procedure that was supposed to be just a quick little repair/restoration to a couple of teeth to help prevent cavities from forming. He said just a "little bit"of novacaine, stating it "wouldn't even make my tongue or lips numb". Well, it took seven (yes 7!) hours for that "little bit" of novacaine to wear off. Our evening plans were ruined because my face looked like I had had a stroke and I could not speak properly or feel my lips/tongue. Dinner was a disappointment as I had trouble chewing and drinking.. Not happy about this and will definitely keep this event in mind when considering any other procedures in the future. I think he was a "little bit" too heavy handed with the novacaine, although I appreciated not feeling any of the work he was doing. 11/8/2022 UPDATE: yesterday's visit was MUCH better. I only had to see the hygienist who is so very patient and calming and reassuring. I truly appreciate her and all the other ladies in the office. The office, by the way, has always been comfortable and clean - no complaints about that.

I had a great experience as a new patient at this practice. They were very thorough and their full attention was on you. The hygienist and doctor were exceptional. I also learned quite a bit during my visit and very thankful for the whole crew. I would highly recommend!!

The Silva Family Dentistry team is amazing from the moment you walk through the door. greeted with a smile. Taken to my appointment in a timely manner. And Dr. Silva is very personable and is great at explaining what is going on if you have any concerns. He will always give you his honest opinion and options so you can make the best decision for yourself.

Was pleasantly surprised to find how relaxed I was with Dr Silva being a cowardly lion when it comes to dentist. He and his whole staff made the urgent visit very easy. Looking forward to having my issue resolved What a great find!

The entire team at Silva Family Dentistry is extraordinary but today I had the pleasure of meeting Ali, one of the dental assistants employed there. From my first introduction to Ali until I left, she made me feel special and cared for in the most genuine way. She explained everything she was going to do and was very thorough in every detail. Her knowledge was amazing, and she took the extra time to answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed, and I stopped feeling nervous once I was placed in her tender care. Ali, you are a tremendous asset to Dr. Silva's practice, and you pay forward the expertise & knowledge he passed on to you. I could not have been happier with my care. Thank You so Much! I'm new in the area and found Silva Family Dentistry online. I had my first appointment, and I was very impressed with everyone and everything there. Everyone there was friendly and very professional. The exam and cleaning were painless and very informative. I have always taken good care of my teeth. It's nice to know I have help with that again. It was my first time going to Silva Family Dentistry, from the second I walked in all the staff made me feel so welcomed! I was given a tour and it is so nice on the inside I was definitely surprised, not your normal dentist at all.. way better! Dr. Silva was extremely kind and very informative. I will for sure be going to them from now on 10/10

The office is very professional. The doctor and staff are very well educated and explain everything in detail. They have state of the art equipment that facilitates diagnosing problems and showing the patient exactly what is going on and resolutions to the issues with pros and cons explained thoroughly.
