Silsby Family Dental was founded in June of 2016. Previously, the practice was owned and operated by Dr. Karl Heuer for over 40 years. Dr. Heuer grew a wonderful patient base in the Greater Albion area and worked hard to provide his patients with great care.
The Silsby Family Dental team is excited and honored to work in the Albion community and is committed to providing the best care by working first to form relationships followed by quality dentistry through the latest advancements in the field.

I grew up in Holley, New York, and earned an Associates in Applied Science degree from GCC in 2015. I graduated as a certified dental assistant from BOCES in February of 2016 and DANB certified in 2019. I truly enjoy working with Dr. Silsby and all of my fellow team members. I love interacting with our patients and, as I am just beginning my career, look forward to developing close relationships with them in the coming years. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending quality time with close friends, family, and my dog, Winnie.
I have been in the dental field since 1996. Myvoice is familiar to many as I amone of theprimary contactsat the office. I havebeen with thisoffice since 1998 and am the go to person for all your dental insurance questions.
I have lived in the area for over 40 years with my husband Dan. Ienjoyspending time with my family (especially my twograndsons!) and friends andI love knitting and crocheting. In my spare time I volunteer at functions for the Clarendon Fire Co. Mymost enjoyable relaxation is camping at Southwoods RV Resort as a seasonal camper.
Owning a family dental practice has been a dream for Evan and I for a very long time! I completed my Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Finance at Houghton College in 2008. I spent 8 years specializing in agricultural finance andcompleted my Masters degree in Personal Financial Planning and earned my designation as a CFP. I have worked with a number of private companies in the area and enjoy teaching Masters courses online.
Although mine is usually the first friendly voice you hear on the phone, you may also see my in the clinical rooms assisting Dr. Evan from time to time! I enjoy learning all aspects of the dental office and new, unique jobs!
Most know me from my nickname Joni. I graduated from MCC with my degree in dental hygiene and licensure in 2001. I returned in 2009 to become licensed to administer anesthesia. I have been practicing hygiene in Albion for almost 19 yrs. I appreciate this small town and we have some wonderful families here and Im proud to serve this commmunity and see familiar faces! I strive to provide gentle yet effective care to my patients.
Along with my husband Ryan, we have two beautiful boys Caden & Carson. We enjoy vacationing in the winter and camping and boating in the summer. We love a good baseball game too. ( Red Sox fans!) I also enjoy gardening And reading books on my down time
I've been a hygienist in Albion for the past 9 years after moving here from East Central Illinois. My husband is what brought me to the area. I'm also from a small town and this community welcomed me with open arms and made me feel at home! We have 4-year old triplets that keep my husband and I very busy!
I am originally from Bloomfield andmoved to Waterport with my husbandand our dogsBella, Rayne and Sky. I earned my associates in dental hygiene from MCC in 2014, following my NYS anesthesia licensing in 2015.

Had a wisdom tooth extracted and was done pain free in under 5 minutes! Staff was excellent and Dr. Silsby handled the procedure with utmost professionalism!

I haven't been to the dentist in quite some time, so I was definitely nervous! As soon as I walked in the door I felt very comfortable and even more so after talking with the hygienist Megan. She was so incredibly friendly and you can tell she really cares about what she does! Everyone was so nice and they really took the time to explain what they were doing as the appt went along. Highly recommend!

Joni is so great! She is always friendly and helpful. She was very understanding that I had my baby with me and was quick and thorough with my exam knowing he could wake up at any moment! I always enjoy chatting with her during the appointment and she always gives great advice about how to take care of my teeth. She is wonderful! The entire office is great as well and it is a clean and calm environment!

An outstanding family dental practice. My 4.5 year old daughter absolutely loves "Ms. Megan", who is an amazing asset to the team, and wonderful with making a trip to the dentist so much fun, that my daughter asked me, "Can we live there?" as we were getting in the car. The extremely friendly staff, welcoming and modern office, little prizes for doing a great job, and a balloon to take home, makes the overall experience an A+ for us! 10/10, highly recommend.

Amazingly friendly staff. Took the time to explain what they were doing and the plans for the future visit. The receptionist was blowing up a balloon for a child that had a rough time during their visit. 10/10 recommended for adults and children!

I needed upper dentures and Dr.Silsby fitted and finished them within a few weeks. They fit well and look beautiful. Thanks to Dr. Silsby and his team. If you need dentures I highly recommend Silsby Dental.

We love Miss Megan and Dr. Silsby! The office staff always has a smile on their face and Miss Megan is the absolute best with my children! They love brushing their teeth and going to the dentist!!
