Dr. Chitra Shikaram (Dr. Chitra or Dr. C as patients like to call her) takes pride in restoring not just dental wellness but also enhancing the general wellbeing of her clients. Her easygoing demeanor and passion for dentistry puts people at ease making them feel comfortable discussing their dental needs and desires or undergoing treatment. She is aware of the fear of the white coat and so her staff and her welcome patients in a very casual friendly manner so that do not feel that they are seeing or talking to a doctor. Her philosophy is to treat her patients like the way she wants to be treated and hence her team and her adhere to no push, no pressure philosophy and tailor treatment plans according to each patients desire and convenience. Dr. Shikaram s approach is holistic. She takes a detailed health history that also includes habits, interests and takes the time to perform a thorough exam to develop customized preventive care for each and every patient. Dr. Shikaram has found that the most rewarding aspect of practicing dentistry is that it allows her to be part of the lives of so many wonderful people. About Ana, Ana grew up in Campbell, CA and did her Dental Assistant program at CCOC ( currently called SVCTE). desire to help others is what she likes about dentistry. Ana in her free time likes to hike, she is into photography. Ana enjoys spending time with her son and daughter.

Dr. Shikaram and her staff are the best! They are very professional and courteous. They go above and beyond to maximize patient comfort and make the experience as relaxing and pleasant as possible. Dr. Shikaram is so thorough, knowledgeable, and honest. My whole family is happy and impressed with the care we received.

Dr. Shikaram was a great find for a dentist in the South Bay. She is always professional and diligent in ensuring that I receive proper dental care. I was comfortable with her safety and hygiene measures practiced during Covid-19, allowing me to continue with uninterrupted visits.

Dr. Chitra and Ana, her dental assistant both have excellent chair side manners. The practice is on top of COVID-19 protocol; they email pre screening form that we fill out 24 hrs prior to our appointment ( no paper to sign, done electronically) they check temperature, have you wash/ sanitize your hands and they also give iodine pre rinse. There was no wait and everything was clean. Staff was wearing n94 masks, face shield; they have sneeze guards and online credit card processing and our receipt was emailed to us. They have air scrubber and we also got to hear them fog the room after our appointment ( there is door that closes the reception room and the office) Dr. Chitra offered preventive treatment for my child to make sure that he does not develop cavities. Ana was very patient and polite to my son as she took x-rays for him. Our whole family has been under her care and we love going to the Dentist!

Dr. Chitra Shikaram has been our family dentist for several years now. She is very friendly, thorough, highly knowledgeable, and skilled. Prior to Dr. Chitra, I had been to several dentists, and I continued to have issues with my teeth. Then, a friend of mine recommended Dr. Chitra. During the first year or so, Dr. Chitra fixed all the issues I had with my teeth. Since then, it has been mostly preventive dental maintenance work. I have recommended Dr. Chitra to several of my friends and colleagues, and they have been Dr. Chitra's patients ever since. In one sentence, she is the best dentist I have ever had, and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Chitra has been an excellent dentist for our entire family of 4. Very patient and explains the procedure in detail. A visit to her is always comfortable experience. My kids also love visiting her- she makes them comfortable. The location is excellent too

In one of my visit to San Fransisco i visited Dr. Chitra's dental clinic in Sunnyvale. I very much liked her professionalism, willingness to accomodate me even though i am visiting from out of the country. She was spot on the diagnosis and the right way she treated the root cause. She has a good , gentle hand for treating dental problems.

Dr. Chitra is the kindest dentist you will ever see. She is very thorough and meticulous with the dental examination and procedures. I trust her more than any other dentist out there. She is transparent and provides you with all the options you may have based on the diagnosis. More over, she easy to talk to and in good spirits all the time. Great place, easy 5 star.

I have been a patient of this practice for the last 3+ years. If you are looking for a dentist who always has the patient first mentality, is conservative, diagnoses problems where others struggle and provides excellent dental care, then look no further than Dr. Chitra. I highly recommend her as dentist one should consider to have.
