Dr. Helen Rozenfeld grew up in New York City. She attended the SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with High Honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the prestigious National Dental Honor Society. She then went on to receive her three-year specialty training in Periodontics at SUNY Stony Brook. While at Stony Brook she served as the resident ambassador for the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation.
Dr. Rozenfeld is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. This means that she obtained the highest level of achievement in the specialty of periodontology, beyond the mandatory educational requirements. She has received advanced training in all aspects of non-surgical and surgical periodontics; including minimally invasive periodontal plastic surgery, guided tissue/guided bone regeneration, implantology, sinus augmentation, and laser dentistry. She is certified in the LANAP laser protocol.
Dr. Rozenfeld has been the recipient of numerous awards including the American Academy of Periodontology Award, Blasco C. Gomes Periodontology Scholarship, Dr. Richard J. Oringer Periodontology Award, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award. Dr. Rozenfeld has lectured on Maxillary Anterior Esthetics for the Suffolk County Dental Society and the Rockefeller Study Club. Her treatment protocol for peri-implantitis (implant disease) has been published in a peer-reviewed journal in a paper titled Treatment of Cement-Associated Peri-implantitis Using Tetracycline and Enamel Matrix Derivative.
In 2010 she was a participant in a dental outreach trip to Chile. This mission provided dental care to children in the remote and underserved town of Currarehue, Chile. Dr. Rozenfeld is also an active member of the Leadership Council of the Happy Hearts Fund, a non-profit organization that rebuilds schools in areas affected by natural disasters all over the world.

Meet Vilma! She graduated from SUNY Farmingdale with a degree in Dental Hygiene and has been a hygienist for 34 years. Vilma has been a proud member of our team for 19 years and if you ask around, youll find, that there are some patients, who love her too much, to see anyone else. Vilma is married with 3 grown children and enjoys spending time with her girlfriends and walking for miles along the Long Beach boardwalk in her spare time. More often than not, youll find her with her twin and two younger sisters.
Jehan graduated from Farmingdale College in 2008 with a license in Dental Hygiene. Her education consists of a Bachelor of Science degree and she is licensed in administrating Nitrous Oxide/Local Anesthesia. Our patients notice Jehans outgoing, fun, caring, warm personality. She enjoys working with people and is always willing to help others when needed. Jehan thrives on the constant interaction with our patients and is able to deliver the most up-to-date care possible. She is touched by our patients stories, jokes, journeys and adventures. When Jehan isnt working, she loves to spend time with her family, friends and working out.

I love this dentist office. I've always dreaded going to the dentist because of bad experiences when I was younger, but the staff here are friendly and Dr. Spector is fantastic. I went here for a few years because I lived close by and when I moved 30 minutes away last year I tried to go to another dentist closer to me and I had a terrible experience. That dentist tried to sell me all kinds of products and I just felt like a bag of cash to him. It also seemed like his office did some shady things with their billing that I never experienced at Signature Smiles. I ended up going back to Dr. Spector and his team. They are worth the drive. It's so hard to find a good dentist/dentist office so I'd rather continue coming here since I know they're great. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Signature Smiles for all dentistry needs! The entire staff is very professional and make me feel like I am part of their family! The office is clean and very modern wjth great artwork and TVs in each room. They are always very flexible with appointments and most importantly the quality of care is amazing whether it's a cleaning or more extensive procedure. They are great with kids and the elderly too!

I've found the most wonderful dentist and staff. So professional, with a short wait time, if any. Dr. Spector is gentle and informative. He explains everything he's going to do, and there's no pain involved. Sean, the receptionist, is kind, friendly, professional, and so helpful. In the 70+ years have been going to dentists I've finally found my perfect place.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yuval Spector for almost 10 years now. Although I moved to FL 5 years ago, I still make sure to schedule my appointments {cleaning, regular check ups,etc.} way before I get to NY to spend time with family & friends. Dr. Spector is the best dentist I've ever had & I am very fortunate I found him! He is caring, sensitive, patient & thoughtful. Takes time to explain everything thoroughly, makes sure you understand and answers any question you might have clearly. Staff is friendly & makes you feel welcome right away, from front desk receptionist {Shawn} to Dr. Spector himself. Office is bright, super clean, pretty & relaxing. There is definitely no other dental office I'd rather be!!

If I could give more then 5 stars I would. I have been coming to this dental office in Great Neck for more than 25 years because I trust the work they do on me. Dr. Yuval Spector is caring and kind. More important he has successfully completed work I needed like fillings, crowns and root canal. Vilma is an outstanding dental hygienist who has helped me with gum disease. She does such a great job that I enjoy having my teeth cleaned. Their prices for procedures are not cheap but you get quality work.

A welcoming office from the front desk to the back office. Before coming to Signature Smiles I went to the dentist because I had to but since coming here my fears are no more. The Drs Spector and my hygienist Vilma are so caring and everything is explained in easy to understand language.

There's no judgement here, only kindness and efficiency. Velma is an exceptional hygienist and both dentists are extremely good at what they do. I can't recommend this place enough.

The office staff, from Dr. Yuval Spector to Vilma, my dental hygienist, to the front desk staff, are all kind, courteous, friendly and professional. Vilma is thorough and meticulous and never rushes. She takes as much time as is necessary. Fortunately, I do not require Dr. Spector's expertise too often but when I do need to see him, he always takes the time to explain what he thinks is the problem and what he plans on doing. I would definitely recommend this dental practice without any hesitation at all. Your teeth and gums will thank you!
