Our Sherman Oaks area dentist,Dr. Sheila Mahooti, has always grown up in the area of health care. Her parents were physicians, though she found her specific calling in the field of dentistry, where she combines her artistic view with quality patient care. She graduated from the New York University in 2001 and has been practicing ever since. She is also a faculty member in the Clinical Restorative Department at the UCLA School of Dentistry, and is an active member with the ADA (American Dental Association), the California Dental Society, as well as the San Fernando Valley Dental Society. She provides compassionate care and brings advanced techniques and quality materials to her patients to help them achieve and maintaining beautiful, healthy smiles!

Being exposed to health care by her physician parents,Dr. Sheila Mahootialways knew that she would go into the same field. She eventually found her calling in Dentistry, where she is able to combine artistic tendencies with patient care. Dr. Sheila Mahooti began pursuing her dreams after graduating fromNew York University in 2001. She went on to further her skills and education by completing a one-year general practice residency program at the prestigious Manhattan VA hospital. From there, she relocated to sunny Southern California, where she has been practicing ever since.
Dr. Ali Jamehdor is a board-certified trauma physician.He finished his undergraduate studies at theUniversity of California, Irvine and subsequently attended Western University of Health Sciences School of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in Emergency Medicine at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in 2007, where he served as the Chief Resident in his final year.
Currently, Dr. Jamehdor is serving as theMedical Director at Olympia Medical Center Emergency Departmentand is a clinical professor at Western University. Dr. Jamehdor is the founder and CEO of Youthfullooks, focusing on cosmetic injectable products.He believes that these minimally invasive procedures are the future of facial aesthetics. Dr. Jamehdor performs all of the procedures himself and believes that he is able to truly focus on the art of medicine on an individual basis, given his focused and personalized practice.

Five well-deserved stars! I am the most fearful patient that ever set foot in the dentist's office. I HATE going to the dentist. That is until I found Dr. Mahooti and her crew. Everyone who works there is a pro! The dentist and her team made me feel comfortable without shaming me for not going to the dentist in YEARS. It has been a gift to be Dr. Mahooti's patient. I honestly can't recommend it enough. I am no longer fearful of the dentist!

Dr. Mahooti and her office staff are the best!!!! My wife and I are both patient's of Dr. Mahooti and we couldn't be happier with the quality of care that we are provided!!! If you want a knowledgeable, professional and gentle dentist, then I would highly recommend Signature Smiles. Special shout out to the office hygienist, Paulina, who was very meticulous on my cleaning! Finally, Sophia in the front office is always welcoming and greets the patients with a smile!! Thank you!!!

Dr. Mahooti and the whole team are excellent. The office is great and I feel very well taken care of. The doctor clearly lets me know what she's doing, provides options and prices before doing anything major, and does a great cleaning! I am doing invisalign, and it's been a great experience. I have a few friends who are doing it with a different doctor and my experience has been more affordable and the doctor follows up regularly to check in. I'm extremely happy and refer all my friends and family. UPDATE: I just had a zoom teeth whitening procedure, took a bit more than an hour and I am so happy with the results! Definitely will be making this a ritual of any major occasion.

My original visit into Signature Smiles was to try their zoom teeth whitening. I really loved getting this done but it was really hard not to continue to eat a lot of foods that stain my teeth. I only suggest getting teeth whitening if you're totally dedicated to continuing doing the work to keep them white. I'm too lazy and I drink coffee all day long. Those two things alone can affect how white your teeth stay, but the Zoom does work. My teeth were definitely whiter! Before I got the whitening, the dentist took some x-rays and saw that I needed to have some dental work done. As you can imagine, I was not thrilled to hear my teeth had cavities. "I love going to the dentist", said nobody ever. Well, that's what I thought before I met Dr. Mahooti! She has got to be one of the sweetest doctors I have ever been to, especially since she's a dentist. It's really important to have a kind dentist because for most people, going to the dentist can be scary! She's so patient, kind, and caring, but most of all she's an excellent doctor! She found things in my mouth that my other dentist never mentioned to me! One of the best things about Dr. Mahooti is that after you see her, she will send you a text that evening or the next day to check on you and see how you're feeling. She definitely provides A+ service. If you are scared or have a hesitation to go to the dentist, don't be scared any longer. Dr. Mahooti is amazing and will take good care of you!

I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years! I was pretty nervous for my visit. I can honestly say the entire Signature Smiles team from top to bottom immediately made me feel relaxed and welcomed. I went in for a deep cleaning. My teeth look and feel amazing! I can't wait for my follow up appointment!
