Dr. Schnell achieved her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1985 after completing undergraduate studies at IU in Bloomington. Since then, she has pursued postgraduate education, earning well beyond the states required number of continuing education credits on a yearly basis. For instance, shes attended the world-renowned Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, studying aesthetic restorative dentistry. Shes also studied through Gordon Christensen seminars, ADA meetings, and SPEAR seminars in Phoenix, AZ. She is certified in oral conscious sedation.
Dr. Schnell is originally from Schnellville, IN and the name isnt a coincidence! The town was named after her great-great-grandfather. She has two adult children named Connor and Lindsey, as well as a grandson named Aiden. In her free time, she really enjoys scrapbooking, making memories with Aiden, traveling, learning photography (or at least trying), exploring other countries and cultures, reading, and quilting.
Amy has been working in the dental field for well over 25 years so far, and she loves being able to help patients achieve the best dental care in Citrus County at Signature Dental Care! Originally from East Liverpool, OH, she studied at the Las Vegas Institute of Dental Science.
Amy has been married to her high school sweetheart for almost 40 years, and they have three beautiful daughters and one granddaughter together. She also has three dogs named Gus, Bo Jangles, and Sweetpea. Her favorite hobbies include swimming and bowling. Shed also love to be a dog foster parent one day.
Molly has been a Dental Hygienist for over six years. She started her career with Aspen Dental where she was employed for two years before deciding to work for private dentistry. She spent the next four years working for Dr. Fagan in Inverness until his retirement in 2021. She joined the team at Signature Dental in October where she enjoys meeting new patients and learning from an experienced Doctor and talented office staff. Molly graduated from Pasco Hernando State College earning her degree in Dental Hygiene and certification in anesthesia.
Born in Minnesota but growing up in Alaska since the age of two, Molly is quite the outdoor enthusiast enjoying activities such as snowboarding and fishing. She moved to Florida with her two daughters in 2003 and a few years later, she met her husband Todd who also has a daughter. Molly and Todd live in Homosassa where they spend most of their time on the water.
Tami has been working in dentistry for over two full decades, having spent around half that time right here at our dental office. She studied at Central Florida Community College before undergoing her assistant training at Bayonet Point Dental Academy. She is also trained in administrating nitrous oxide. Her favorite part of this position is being able to learn new techniques all the time!
A Fort Lauderdale native, Tami has a grown child and a wonderful boyfriend with a teenage daughter. Outside of work, her top priority is spending quality time with loved ones, eating out at new restaurants, and traveling whenever possible. She also loves fishing and anything to do with cars.

This office is not owned by Dr Schnell anymore. Amy and Tami are not there anymore. Watch your wallet, conservative dentistry is no longer at Signature Dental. Dr Lindner and Dr Lee offer a completely different practice as to what it used to be. All the awesome reviews were from Dr Schnell and her staff.

My visit here is always good. All of the staff is excellent & the decor of the office has to be the best in town. They are meticulous in all they do. They are the best!

Yesterday I had my regular cleaning exercise by Dondi and together we found the best treatment plan that works very well for me.We always have a chat ,have a laugh and talk about cars.There is no doubt that if one had unpleasant experiences in dentistry elsewhere in the past,one becomes hesitant for care and this needs time to heal.Thats exactly what Dondi achieved,I am fine now, in fact our daughter was in a few days earlier and was overheard laughing during treatment which is perfect.Thats how children should start care. No fear! Fully recommend SDC and the team!

Very happy with this choice. A super clean & modern office with a wonderfully efficient & careful staff considering the COVID-19 situation. Dentist & helpers so kind & thorough. I felt safe & cared for.

I thought I would never say this but I enjoyed my visit to the dentist. Jo did a super job and had me very relaxed. I am looking forward to my next visit with her. I haven't been to a dentist in about 10 years but that will not happen again. I'm 75 years old and can't wait for my next visit even though my life is getting shorter.

Jo-Anne does a great job, very astute as to problems she sees while cleaning. Dr. Shenell tries to recommend cost effective approaches to remedy problems and prevention. Highly recommend!
