Ryan Falke, DDS has a unique background, equipping him to provide outstanding oral and facial surgery within an atmosphere of Compassion, Comfort, and Expertise. He earned a computer engineering degree from Brigham Young University, publishing in the field of autonomous robotics.
After working as a network engineer, he moved his family to Southern California to pursue his love for dentistry at Loma Linda University, earning a doctorate in dental surgery. He then practiced as a general dentist in the greater Sacramento area for a year. Desiring to specialize, he returned to Loma Linda to complete an Oral and Maxillofacial surgery residency. He enjoyed an extensive and robust training experience there, qualifying him to provide excellent and comprehensive face, mouth, and jaw surgery.
On a personal note, Dr. Falke is happily married with four children ranging in ages from two to seven years old. They love hiking in the nearby mountains, visiting beautiful parks in Reno, and riding bikes together.
Falke received his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. Working at the only level-one trauma center in the entire Inland Empire and under the tutelage of the renowned Dr. Alan Herford, Dr. Falke received extensive training experience.
This includes being proficient in the most technologically-advanced methods not only for wisdom tooth removal and dental implants but for corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, facial reconstruction, and facial cosmetics.
During his time at Loma Linda, Dr. Falke conducted research in the field of bone regeneration and bone grafting, which enhances his success in placing dental implants. Dr. Falke is well-equipped to practice comprehensive oral and facial surgery.
I was raised in a family where service was a number one priority. For instance, my family helped build a neighborhood park that has become a place of relaxation and fun for families for over 25 years. Also, as an Eagle Scout, I had many opportunities to serve my community. I led a book drive for troops stationed in Iraq, collecting hundreds of books.
My love for service was further ignited when I spent two years in the impoverished city of Tijuana, Mexico. There, I learned to love the people, became fluent in Spanish, but most importantly, relearned the importance of people over things.
Through this experience, I committed to giving back whenever I can. I have realized part of this desire through my active involvement in Flying Doctors and Share a Smile two organizations that give back through the field of dentistry.
I am happy to be settled in Reno with my wife and four children. It has been my dream to operate my own practice, centered around treating people with Compassion, Comfort, and Expertise in a place I am proud to call home.
After visiting numerous locations, my wife and I fell in love with the mountains, nearby skiing, local hiking, and the good people of Reno. We enjoy most things outdoors, but in particular, I love golfing, hiking, snow-skiing, playing racquetball, and geocaching.

Wow what an amazing office! Everyone is so incredibly friendly and they put on whatever music you would like in each room. Dr. Falke is one of the kindest people I've ever met and extremely smart. And a bonus is that their office is beautiful! Definitely recommend!

Great service and everyone was super nice and helpful. The dentist was very pleasant and answered all my questions. Everyone had great bedside manner. I was in and out and even though I was a little out of it because of the anesthesia they made sure I had all my aftercare things that they needed. So happy I went here.

Dr. Falke was fantastic! I had a serious concern after having radiation treatments in the area where I was experiencing pain. The doctor was conscientious, observant and conservative in his treatment. The procedure was painless and quick. If you are looking for someone who has a great, easy-going personality and is absolutely gifted in his area of expertise, he's your guy. The staff members were equally as impressive! This practice is the whole package! We will be recommending Sierra Oral and facial surgery to friends and family.

My experience with this office was great. I'll never go anywhere else.after my dentist referred me to a different surgeon I knew there was no way I could go anywhere but to see dr falke. I was terrified for my procedure but the staff assured me it would be ok. I don't remember her name but she held my hand till I went to sleep and woke up right there also. Short nice lady with brown hair. I can't thank this office enough for being so gentle , honest , and getting me in so fast. As always thank you dr falke.

Dr. Falke is super personable, easy going, and kind. He makes what, for me, could be a scary experience very positive. This is the guy who has pulled a tooth and put in an implant -- not usually fun stuff. I feel very confident in recommending him to anyone looking for an oral surgeon - and all around great practitioner and great guy!

Search no more, make your appointment here. Kind and courteous staff. I was terrified when I got here but they get down to business right way. I was only asked a few questions and next thing I knew I was already on my way home. If you have any questions they answer all your questions without feeling rushed.

I have a pretty horrible phobia of dentists, but this was by far the best dental visit I've ever had. I was extremely scared to get my wisdom teeth taken out, but they made the process smooth and quick. Everyone was professional and friendly, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good oral surgeon, because it was a wonderful experience.

I was happy with how Dr. Falke treated me. Dr. Falke got me right in to pull 3 of my wisdom teeth. The low rating is due to my experience with the office. After my surgery, the office forgot to call in my pain medicine. So I sat in the parking lot at my pharmacy trying to get ahold of his office while being in a tremendous amount of pain for well over an hour while everyone was gone for lunch. I finally got ahold of someone, and they called the prescription in. But unfortunately, I had to wait an additional time for the prescription to be filled. Dr. Falke was very apologetic that this had happened. I'm writing this review seven months later because today I received a bill for a significant amount of money they are trying to collect. Note: I had them check how much the procedure would cost before the surgery. I also paid in full before any procedure started. I called the office to see what was going on. The office blamed the insurance company. I called the insurance company to see why the claim had not been processed in 7 months. The lady on the phone informed me that Dr. Falke's office is missing information in their claim, and it cannot be processed. All in all, in my experience, the office is a complete mess. It is unfortunate to see these outstanding reviews, and I haven't had the best service.

Such a wonderful and fun team! I felt well taken care of and they answered all my questions before I could even ask. I felt so safe and all of my nerves went away with these guys. Definitely recommend this great team to take care of your needs
