Dr. Liu received his dental and orthodontic educationfrom University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Unlike most orthodontist who never practice dentistry, Dr. Liu practiced pediatric dentistry for 6 years before choosing to specialize in orthodontics. With his experience in dentistry,treatment planning complex orthodontic cases are performed in acomprehensive manner byunderstandingthe needs of both the dentist and orthodontist.
Dr. Liu is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Becoming a Diplomate is the highest accomplishment that an orthodontist can achieve. As a board certified orthodontist Dr. Liu has voluntarily gone through hundreds of additional hours of preparation to demonstrate his commitment to patient excellence.
In order to give back to undeserved areas Dr. Liu has volunteered on numerous missions with Rotaplast International, a humanitarian organization whose primary goal is to treat craniofacial anomalies particularly in treating cleft lip and palatepatients, being some of the most difficultcases to treat. This experience has provided him with the unique opportunity to provide underserved children and adults with a chance to live a normal life and have a beautiful smile. He is also a craniofacial genetic fellow and received his master's oncleft lip and palate.
Dr. Liu currently lives in the San Gabriel Valley with his wife and daughter. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. His hobbies include anythingtechnical such as working on cars, rebuilding engines, SCCA racing, electronic circuitry, woodwork, metal work fabrication, and computers. Engineeringhas always fascinated himso orthodontics was aperfect match.

First of all I have to say the up most amazing customer service! I never had any issues. I am more than pleased with the results!! When I first started two years ago i never really liked to smile. As my journey was coming to an end I found myself smiling more with confidence and getting a lot of compliments about my smile. I am very lucky to have chosen this orthodontist. Hopefully this review can help others. At the end of the day pick Sierra Madre Orthodontics as your orthodontist! You WILL NOT regret it!!!

My experience at Sierra Madre Orthodontics was completely different from any other orthodontist visit I've ever had (mind you I've had two other orthodontists in the past). The doctor was generous and friendly and understanding you know, like a human and not a robot hell-bent on giving children teeth related nightmares. He recognized the problem with my retainer immediately and I was in and out of there in a snap! Now my retainer is 100% wearable thanks to the beautiful people at Sierra Madre Orthodontics! Thank you so much!
