I grew up in central Minnesota in a town similar to Litchfield and have always loved the rural atmosphere and small-town life. After high school, I attended Bemidji State University where I earned bachelors of science degrees in both chemistry and biology. It was in Bemidji that I met my husband Dave, a native of Litchfield. After undergraduate education, I continued at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree graduating with high honors in 2006.

My husband and I live in Litchfield with our three wonderful children. They keep us very busy, but with the little free time that life allows, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially hiking and snowshoeing. On the days when the Minnesota weather offers its best challenges, I also enjoy staying inside and reading a good book.

I am a dedicated member of the Minnesota Dental Association, the West Central District Dental Society, the American Dental Society, and a proud member of the American College of Dentistry. I have taken an active role in charitable dental services, volunteering for and supporting Give Kids a Smile Day, Minnesota Mission of Mercy and Donated Dental Services, as well as serving on the executive board of the Minnesota Dental Foundation.

In 2014 I was acknowledged by my peers, receiving the Minnesota New Dentist Leadership award. I have been acknowledged by my peers for excellence in leadership and awarded the Minnesota New Dentist Leadership Award in 2014 and the presidents Award in 2018. I have also been elected to represent Minnesota dentists on the Minnesota Dental Association Executive Council for a four-year term, serving as President in 2022.

I had an absolutely great experience at Sibley Dental. When I walked in the door, the receptionist had a smile on her face and greeted me. Kim, my hygienist, did a fabulous job explaining what she was doing and was very professional and kind. My doctor Jeremy Berger also was quick and thorough with the exam. The technology in the office is very up to date. I would highly recommend this dental office.

First appointment I booked was for a cleaning and X-rays... well the lady took too long with X-rays and wasn't able to do the cleaning. That should have been my first sign to not come back... but, I did anyway. Cleaning didn't even make my teeth feel clean... normally at past cleanings elsewhere, I could tell I'd had a cleaning and my teeth felt and looked awesome... not this time. Anyway, my sons and husband came in too for check ins. The dentist said something to my son about how he didn't know how fillings felt or something like that since he'd never even had a cavity... wow. Good for you. Way to make a child feel bad. So then I went in to get some teeth pulled. Told him before hand it takes a lot to get me numb. Still felt 2 of the teeth being yanked out. I have an extremely low pain tolerance... after treating me like a drug addict for even asking for pain meds, Dr. Berger gave me Tylenol with codine. I'm allergic to Advil. Ended up being up half the night in pain. Went to urgent care the next day and was told by the doctor at urgent care that he should have given me the meds when I asked for them. Whatever.... I'll go back to get my stitches out but after that, I'm done. I don't appreciate cocky jerks. Nor do I appreciate the rude comments towards my children or him treating me like a drug seeker. Update: after seeing Dr. Berger 4 days after my extractions and still being in an intense amount of pain, he looked at my mouth and said everything looked great. I tried to tell him I was still in a great deal of pain but he thought it was simply a part of the healing process. After leaving my appointment and sitting at home in pain for a while, I went to the ER, the dr there found a deep infection and also nerve irritation. He said this was likely the reason pain pills were not working. After being on prednisone and an antibiotic for about 24 hours, I was feeling much much better. Thank god for Glencoe Regional Healths ER department!
