All of these negative reviews sound like they're the ones with the problem. I, however have been coming here for over 2 years and have had absolutely 0 issues! They have been taking care of my denture work and in such an unimaginably timely fashion. All of these nonsense reviews of rude staffing, disability discrimination etc are all untrue. I am disabled and have been treated no different than the next. I highly recommend Dr. Hersini and his team. Very to the point and straight forward dentist who actually listens, and takes care of patient concerns. 10/10 ~Rebecca Weber

1 star is giving them too much credit! Worst place ever, don't waste your time or money. They can't even handle a filling. Screwed my husband's teeth up, and he refuses to see a dentist again.

The ABSOLUTE worst dentist office I have ever dealt with. They definitely are discriminative towards people with special needs and the secretaries will make you want to reach out and touch them. Do not recommend. The receptionist have to tolerate the rudeness because they start off rude in the first place. You can't be rude and expect not to get it back.

Dr Hersini helped me when I needed it most. When Amy cleans my teeth she tells me how good my dental care is.

As a new patient I assumed it would take long to be seen. All of the sudden I had a broken tooth. They said they would call me as soon as there was an opening, and they did! I was able to fill out papers ahead of time, being there for my son. Virus precautions are being taken. I was seen as soon as the room was prepared. The hygienist is experienced, calm, friendly and thorough. I was able to see my X-rays. The dentist is straight to the point and asked if there were any questions. The oral surgery is referred to Victor Oral Surgery, unless your insurance suggests otherwise. Their office seems very friendly. I was apprehensive because of other experiences elsewhere, but no longer. I would very much recommend this dental team. I am glad also, because the local dentist didn't even answer their phone.

I do not recommend this dentist. I had a filling done by them. Too and bottom both on left side. My teeth never bothered me before. However since my oral work, I can't even chew on my left side without it being extremely painful. I called and asked the dentist about it. He had me come in for X-rays. This is 5 weeks AFTER my filling. I go to my appointment and he doesn't even offer me X-rays. Just tries to do another filling on a different side that I didn't even know I needed done! There's absolutely NO communication from the doctor. Staff is extremely rude. Rooms are dirty. Apparence wise they look clean but they're dried fluids on the walls, and the light above the seat. My check up on my pain was a whopping ten minutes and he wouldn't even do anything. Told me my teeth aren't grinding and they're fine. Clearly. They. Aren't. Not at all impressed with this office.

I really enjoy my experience here I've been coming for about 4-5 years now. Dr Hersini has been so great with helping me through my anxiety with dental procedures and I've overcome so much of it and the staff has always been so kind and patient with me. I appreciate them all for helping me in my dental adventures

Worst experience I've ever had with any dental facility . The receptionists are so rude and don't even bother to call you when cancelling your appointments . I was with this office for about 8 months and only seen the dentist one time . They literally cancelled every appointment . I'm with a new dentist now , who says he's been getting all of hersini's patients for the same reasons .

The dental assistant who did my cleaning was a nice lady and did a good job. But that is it for positives. The staff is unkind and unwelcoming. You could easily find more joy from a wake. I was told by the check-in assistant that I was "giving her an attitude" when I let a cuss slide. Now mind you: the waiting room was fully empty (I could understand her concerns if children were nearby). And when I tried to apologies, she wouldn't have any of it. I said "I'm sorry ma'am, but I'm used to swearing like a trucker from work and I'm hungover right now, my bad" (which was true, you'd think she would show a little sympathy). But instead, for trying to apologies I got scolded even more. I am a grown man, who despite "saying a bad word" am not that bad of a guy. My worst crime is a speeding ticket. So for me to show up and be scolded like a child by some petulant check-in staff within my first minute of arriving- you could say it was a massive turnoff. Once inside, most of my questions were ignored or breezed past. I very much got the impression that the workers were working "just to get the job done" and putting minimal effort into the job. When I asked for them to look into a cavity I had, I was told "no". They outright refused to check the problem which was the reason I made the appointment in the first place. I can give these as positives: the lady who did my cleaning was polite and did a good job cleaning them (despite failing to address my concerns), and the office itself looked well cleaned and sanitary. They may have those two silver linings, but this place has made sure I will never come back.

I have never had a more pleasant experience at a Dental Office. People talk of pain after having a Root Canal done, I had a double Root Canal done here with absolutely zero pain during or after, as well as cosmetic work done on my front teeth and several fillings. Doctor Hersini and his beautiful assistants are always very tentative and listen to what I say and address concerns fully. The Hygienist is passionate at what she does and very thorough. Also has very pleasant ladies working the front desk who are always very polite and attractive.

Great dentist office.. however, the dentist is rarely there .. and you can't get an emergency appointment if he isn't there.. Makes me question how many patients have lost their lives due to this.. I am a high risk of severe infection, and have been hospitalized before in the ICU.. Medical "professionals" should care more about their patients than they do their paychecks... WE PAY YOU.. REMEMBER THAT!

I recently went to Dr. Hersini's office for an annual check up and was extremely pleased with their level of service. My hygienist, Angela was wonderful, she did a great job a taking my x-rays and conducting a rather extensive cleaning. Dr. Hersini was great and I was able to get a follow up appointment within a week to fill a cavity. Angela & Dr. Hersini were so personable and answered all my questions. I was glad to find this practice after only moving here recently.

Staff was entirely professional and Angela could not have been more kind. Same for Dr. Hersini. Got a free toothbrush and never been more excited for my 6-month checkup!

Dr. Sia Hersini owned and operated The Lakes Dental PLLC in Penn Yan, NY. He surreptitiously closed the dental practice in Penn Yan this last year without paying the landlord or even notifying it of its departure and left the facility strewn with debris, including containers of used syringes. As a result, there is now a judgement filed in Yates County against The Lakes Dental PLLC for $48,388.16.

I had 14 teeth pulled with only lidocaine for numbing my mouth. He was fantastic. Never felt any pain whatsoever. They are healing without any complications. Thank you to Dr. Hersini and his wonderful staff. Respectfully yours, Michael a. Deal

My experience here was awful. The dental hygienist was great, but everyone else was impersonal, cold, and not welcoming. Dr. Hersini made no eye contact. Did not address my concerns or fears, and did not answer questions. During a filling procedure, he caused a significant amount of pain and did not ask if I was numb. I felt much of it. Pain after the filling lasted 3+ months. I was supposed to go back for another procedure and cancelled it because he and his assistant seemed almost annoyed that they had to perform a filling. When I called to ask that my records be transferred to another dentist, the 2 staff people I spoke with were rude. It took 3 weeks to get them to finally transfer my records after repeated phone calls and emails asking. After visiting with my new dentist last week I know I made the correct decision in not going back to Dr. Hersini. I would not recommend anyone see him.
