Dr. Shutty is a native of western Pennsylvania. He graduated from Geibel high school in Connellsville, Pa. He is an alumnus of John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio earning a bachelors degree in biology. After attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine Dr. Shutty started his dental practice in West Newton. Dr. Shutty was a past president of the mid-Mon Valley dental society. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Western Pennsylvania Dental Society. He is continuingly educating himself and his staff in the newest dental techniques and approaches in order to provide you with state of the art, comfortable, personalized, and excellent dental care.
Dr. Shutty is married to Diane Shott Shutty and they have two sons who are Physicians. Dr. Christopher Shutty is a board certified anatomic and clinical Pathologist in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Brandon Shutty is a board certified Dermatologist at PHDermatology in Palm Harbor, Florida.

We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card. We also have payment plans available through CARE CREDIT.

Waited an entire month for my Dentist appointment that got cancelled without my knowing so when the day came and I took off work to go to the Dentist they told me the Doctor wasn't in and I wouldn't be seen. Definitely will find a new Dentist that's ridiculous.

Called to find out about an extraction and whether or not they take my insurance. Told the woman what my insurance was and she said no and immediately hung up. My next question would have been about how much out of pocket an extraction costs, but they were not even professional enough to stay on the line to discuss. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

Called for an appointment but because my grandson has united health care...she said they have quotas and they have met that one. Never heard of such nonsense in my life. Shame on you
