Dr. Randall C. Shults has a passion for creating beautiful, confident, healthy smiles. Since opening his practice in Wellington, FL in 1993, Dr. Shults has enjoyed taking the extra time with every patient and parent to comprehensively and compassionately provide the individualized care that they deserve.
Dr. Shults graduated Cum Laude from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and was immediately elected into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society. He received his orthodontic specialty training at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, Chapel Hill, while simultaneously completing a PhD in Sensory Physiology from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. While completing his PhD and orthodontic residency, he was awarded the first NIH Individual Dentist Scientist Training Award.
Dr. Shults feels that it isimportant to stay on the cutting-edge of orthodontics in order to offer his patients the most advanced, appropriate, and efficient treatment options, from braces to Invisalign. To achieve these goals, a lifetime commitment to continuing personal and professional growth through education is an important part of the practice. I had a pleasant and informative experience during my consultation with Dr. Shults. The staff was pleasant and positive which is important too. I like the fact that there fees will not change even if more ortho work and time is required compared to what was originally planned.

Dr. Shults is a kind, professional and thorough orthodontist. He has always given options with pros and cons to each treatment model, but ultimately allowing the patient to make the decision. The office staff is excellent and their appointments are always right on time! My oldest had a different experience with another office and it has been a pleasure to have my two youngest in this office.

Dr. Schultz is extremely thorough and his office staff is friendly and so accommodating. He is amazing with the little ones, tweens/teens, and adults. He is so knowledgeable and patient. We just love him and his staff!

My dentist refer me to this business for a consultation for braces. The receptionist and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Dr Shultz was very professional and made me feel at ease. Myrna was the financial person. She explained the expense side and made you feel comfortable with the different plans they offered. I would and have recommended the Orthodontist for your needs. I plan on using them in the future.

This was our first experience at Shults Orthodontics. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Dr. Schults was very thorough and patient explaining everything and answering all my questions. He took his time to form a relationship with my son and talked to him about things he liked. It calmed his nerves and he is excited to go back. Overall, this was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone.

My wife has brought 3 of our daughters their for braces. Their office staff is amazing, receptionist too. Dr Shults is amazing taking time and being compassionate with each of our daughters. We have been using them for 7 or more years. We will continue to use their services if our boys need it as well.
